Hey guys! Happy Pride Month!!!

If you don't remember, I'm biromantic!

I've got a fun 'first pride day' story.

So I have this friend named Eliza. She's vERY VERY GAY! Haha. But yeah so for today she brought a rainbow flag to school and was wearing it as a headband. It was really cute. On the bus ride home she took it off and was waving it out the window. We each took turns waving it out the window yelling "Happy Pride" to people who passed by while the other would be taking videos for Snapchat. We were surprised that our bus driver didn't say to sit down or to stop yelling and sticking out heads out the window. It was so much fun. Some people waved and smiled and others just ignored us. I wonder if any lgbtq+ person saw us and went home and told their family or partner. That would be awesome!

Anyway so I didn't want to get off the bus, because I was having so much fun and I knew that when I got home I would have to pretend like I didn't care that it was pride day. So I took my time getting my stuff and walking to the front of the bus when we had gotten to my stop. I passed the bus driver and said "bye" and walked down the steps. And I heard him say "bye, happy pride!" And I literally gasped and turned around and he smiled and I smiled and then the bus drove away and I screamed with happiness!!!! My bus driver is like a hipster kinda dude. He's young and is really chill, but I dint really expect him to say that and it made me so happy!

That just made my day a whole lot brighter. It felt really nice to be able to hold that flag and to hold it out the window, laughing and smiling. Not having to worry about my parents getting mad. Not having to keep my voice down. It was the best. :) that's all I gots for my pride day story! Bye
