Let's see what happens.
...
Saraj interrupted, "I know about the fall Jaya, what I wanna know is how the hell you ended up with Nico and looking like you fell on his dick." She crossed her arms and I mimicked her and rolled my eyes because I was getting to that.
"If you would kindly let me finish Saraj damn."
"Don't get an attitude with me with all the wrongs I know you committed. You came here to cover up your infidelity and to get torn a new one. You knew what the hell you were walking into." This was going to be a long day. I knew she was right but I was regretting coming here for help. I wasn't in the mood for this but let's get this shit show on the road.
"Yea whatever," I took a deep breath. "Anyway, after Nico talked me into him giving me a ride home after I insisted I was fine and could finish the shift he brought me home. Luca came outside worried and asked Nico to stay with me because he had to go to the office and fix some shit one of the employees messed up. Of course Nico agreed and we hung out until Luca got home." I kind of trailed off at the end hoping she wouldn't catch it.
"Ya'll 'hung out'?" She said using air quotes.
"Yea."
"Doing what?" She eyed me suspiciously.
"We watched TV and ate really." I said looking away.
"So how exactly did he end up fucking you if ya'll spent the other day together without doing anything?" She was on to me I could tell.
"Saraj do you wanna know why I'm here or not?" I was exasperated at this point.
"Yea, but that doesn't mean I'm not hip to your bullshit Jaya but go ahead." She waved her hand for me to continue.
"Okay so Luca must have called him again to watch over me because he was going to be working all day and night again to get his project done. Nico showed up surprising me and told me he was going to be my baby sitter. So we hung out for the day, going to the park for a walk, out to eat, and an art gallery. It was fun."
"So you went on a date with his ass too?" She was fuming.
"It wasn't a date, he just wanted to get me out the house" I threw my hands up annoyed.
"Jaya you can't be that naïve. That is a whole date and ya'll both know it. Just because you wanna sugar coat it by not calling it a date doesn't make it any less of one. I can guarantee that ya'll held hands or kissed or something."

"That's what I thought," she concluded after my look.
"Anyway we went back to his place and he led me to his guest room and I went to bed. I remember having a very interesting dream about him and then I heard him trying to wake me up, but I thought it was a dream. I somehow ended up in his bed." I said looking at her.
"So now you sleep walk?" She deadpanned.
I closed my eyes and took a breath repeating the mantra that she was my best friend and I deserved this.
