Red P.O.V

Today was my birthday but it also required me to be in two places at once. I groggily woke up at 3 a.m to begin to leave and had a quick shower. I threw on some black skinny jeans and a grey long sleeve shirt. I pulled on a black sweater that went halfway down my thighs. I threw on my black combat boots which hid knives in each boot. I grabbed my my red scarf and tucked my wig into my sweater. I put on my black beanie and locked my room. I tiptoed to my mom's office and wrote her a quick note.

Mom,

I need to head out for a bit and make sure my safe house is fine. You know how paranoid I get about this stuff. Don't worry I'll be back by 5pm. I'll text you constantly so you know I'm alive.

Love,

Red

P.S please don't hurt the guys. Everyone was dead asleep when I left

I prayed that she wouldn't be pissed, but who knows. Once I left the note on her desk, I left through the back alley. I kept to the alleyways and shadows as I navigated my way back to Wayne Manor. I normally would have stopped by Selina's but I figured she was still mad. When I was 20 minutes from home, I was pulled into a dark alley. I immediately began to fight back and lodged my elbow into the guys stomach. I quickly reached down into my boots and grabbed my knives. The man quickly recovered and grabbed my right arm. He quickly pinned me against the wall and pushed my arm up. I winced from the excruciating pressure but remembered that my left arm was free. I brought the knife down into his left knee and twisted it until I felt the pressure lessen. With enough wiggle room, I pushed him against the wall as I kept my right hand at his throat. The blade was centimeters from his throat and I knew I could end him with one swift movement. Now, it was interrogation time.

"Alright freak, give me one reason why I shouldn't skin you on the spot? Let your imagination loose if you value your skin." I demanded as I twisted my left hand more. He gritted his teeth in response and chuckled at me, confusing me.

"I knew you would be capable. You have intrigued me for a while, precisely 9 years. That is how long you've been sneaking out from your castle, quite expertly." The stranger told me. I just now noticed his strange garb. He was wearing a black cloak and seemed to be wearing intricate middle eastern robes, almost like Jafar. The cloak kept his face hidden but his voice sounded British with some middle-eastern and middle-aged.

"Why do you want me? Seems like a lot of effort to watch a boring girl like me" I replied as I began to draw blood from his neck. That only seemed to please him more as a giant smirk spread on his face. As I studied his face, He took it as the opportune moment to reverse our positions. Now his blood was smeared along my throat but he left my kneecaps alone.

"You will see in time. Continue about your life, I want to see how much you can improve on your own. If you seem capable of my training, I will come back for you and give your life new meaning, such that you have never known. Until we meet again, my dear." The stranger said as he dropped a smoke bomb. I heard my knives clatter and reached for them immediately. When the smoke dissipated, the stranger had vanished but left a small dagger in his place. I picked it up and noticed the intricate carvings. The curved blade was maybe 2 inches long and was steel. The end was silver and shaped like a cobra with ruby eyes. I loved the craftsmanship and held onto the blade delicately. I placed the dagger into my left boot along with my knife. Once I made sure that I had all my belongings, I continued on my way perplexed.

The altercation made me 10 minutes late but thankfully everyone was still asleep. I began discarding my clothes and wig into my hideaway space. I had carved out a drawer into the right side of my oak queen bed. I went to my dresser, which was across from my bed, to change into my black silk pajamas. My room was very large and looked somewhat homely for a mansion. The walls were a burgundy wall paper with black flowers. The trim and floors were a brown wood with a hint of red. My bed, dresser with an elegant mirror and two night tables were the stained the same color. My bed sat in the middle of the room which had a balcony to the right. However, the drop was a pure 8 foot drop onto the patio, so it was never an exit strategy. My dresser sat between my bathroom door to the left and a small study to the right. The double doors to my room were to the left of my bed and I quickly went to lock the door. With my "Red" disguise hidden, I dove under the plush cream covers and quickly fell asleep.
