Revenge at last pt.2

Alfred P.O.V
When I woke up again, I looked around for the kids. I assumed that they grabbed something to eat & waited for a bit. After 10 minutes, I began to worry & called for a nurse.

"Yes, Mr. Pennyworth?" She asked

"Where are Bruce & Evelyn Wayne?" I asked

"Um, we assumed with you. I haven't seen them since they brought you in." The nurse nervously answered

"Call the GCPD & ask for detectives Gordon & Bullock. Tell them it's urgent & about the kids." I instructed

"Ah, yes right away." She shuffled away. Now I had to wait for them.

"Well that took you long enough." I complained after a 40 minute wait

"For a butler, you sure do get beat up a lot." Bullock teased as they approached my bedside

"What happened?" Jim asked

"They got his name, Jim. The name of the man that killed their parents. Matches Malone." I replied

"Dude, we're the cops. Thank you for sharing this with us. When were you going to tell us?" Harvey frustratedly asked

"I haven't got time to explain now. We got a good solid lead from the same place that I got the seven bells knocked out of me." I rushed to the important details, "Now, they're not answering their phones. So, my guess is they've gone after this Malone. Solo."

"Going after him? To do what exactly?" Jim questioned

"What can they do their kids?" Harvey brushed off before quickly realising his mistake

"Only reason to go alone. They're gonna kill the man. We all know Evy is completely capable of doing the job." I explained which shocked everyone

"Christ, she can & will. She's brutal with vendettas. The guy will probably be unrecognisable when she's through with him." Harvey added as Jim paced around

"I mean, I, told them not to. I said they're too young for killing. Said i'd do it for them." I confessed

"Again. We're the cops. Do not tell us stuff like this." Harvey warned me

"You've got to understand. Both of ya. This is not a game." I pleaded

"I understand. Tell me where they are." Jim agreed

"Celestial Garden on the east side to talk with a man named Jeri about Malone's whereabouts." I replied, "Please get there soon before they both do something they regret."

"I promise Alfred that they won't go through more darkness." I swore before leaving

Evy P.O.V

Before heading to Jeri's, I doubled back to the safe house. I wanted to grab some extra protection for Malone & possibly Jeri. I also grabbed some backup bribery cash. Bruce sat down as I got ready. I found the special made kevlar deep in the closet & put it underneath my shirt. It was made to be discreet & could stop most handguns. Once dressed, I led us out & to the subways.

It took 30 minutes to get to the east side. From there, we had a 15 minute walk to the building. It was a abandoned building on a lonely corner. The only visible guard so far was the doorman. I cautiously walked up so he could check us.

"Hey cowboy & girl?" The man asked

"Yes sir?" Bruce replied

"Have fun." He chuckled while motioning to enter

Inside, there was an entire club dedicated to Jerome. Images of him flashed behind the rock band. Everyone was free & having fun moshing to the music. The lead singer, probably Jeri, crowd surfed her way to us.
