Evy P.O.V
Last night was a blast together with Leonard. He didn't have any information about Galavan's plans. That didn't surprise me but i was still frustrated about being in the dark. Luckily, I could take out my anger on him. That helped me cool down while the clean up refocused myself. With my mind clear, I began formulating my next move against Galavan.

I needed to interrogate someone close to him & knew the perfect mark. To pull this off, I would need to make a visit to my interrogation crew. It would be a dangerous play since Galavan had the club area heavily watched. Luckily, I knew every back way into that area so I could slip past the patrols. However, I couldn't walk through the slums as Red Mooney due to rats. It was risky to go out as Evelyn but I had no choice.

"This plan of yours is crazy! You're putting yourself on a silver platter to get kidnapped." Ozy angrily whispered

"I don't have a choice. I'm going crazy sitting around, waiting for him to make his move! I'm not waiting for him to knock on the front door. By then, it'll be too damn late." I shouted back before collecting myself, "I'm sorry to worry you. But, I need to do this before Galavan wins. You can't leave this place without be recognised the moment you're on the pavement."

"Just swear to be careful & come back the moment it doesn't feel right. You're all I have left." Ozy  made me swear

"Of course. You're not going to lose me, ever." I promised before giving him a gentle kiss, "I need to leave before Ed comes back."

"Too late, Ms. Wayne." Ed chuckled as he closed the door, "This is a surprise: The rich kid playing a gangster."

"Ed, she's not playing at all. This is her life & has been for years." Ozy warned him

"Why don't you take a seat." I ordered him as I wiped out my hidden pistol, "The bullet will reach you faster than your knife."

He smirked & did as I said. He sat down at the kitchen table with Ozy next to him. I pulled a chair in front of Ed & kept the gun aimed at his heart. The room suddenly became tense as we just evaluated each other.

"I'm going to give you one chance to stay quiet about this. If you keep our secret, we can continue our wonderful psychotic friendship. But if not, I have no problems doing business & forgetting you. You know I'm not bluffing. What's your decision?" I bluntly explained as my finger played with the trigger

"I do need your mentorship with my new endeavour. You certainly are more than meets the eye. You're becoming a better teacher than I first thought. I'll keep the secret. After all, what are friends for." Ed happily agreed but I sensed tha he had other things in mind

"What favours do you want? Tell me now so I don't get angry later." I huffed

"You use your connections to get me out of trouble or get information when needed." He asked

"Deal & don't try to change our agreement on me." I sternly reminded him

"I wouldn't dare cross you. You have quite the reputation." Ed swore, "Where were you headed?"

"I need help getting some information. I won't be back for some time though. Ozy knows how to find me if there's a emergency." I said as i got up & holstered gun

"Ok but it's really not safe going out. Can't you send someone in your place?" Ed nervously asked as I reached the door

"I know the backways & can slip past Galavan. People like us don't trust strangers. I can handle them." I assured him before slipping out

I kept my head low & walked a little fast. On the pavement, I walked the same pace as others to hide in plain sight. I noticed Galavan's patrols as I walked. Luckily, they didn't see me & I could get this done quickly. As I got closer to the club, the security tightened up a lot. I quickly ducked into the alleyways & used that to navigate. A few times I had to duck behind dumpsters or go through buildings as a few guards checked the area. Eventually, I made it to Tom's place & used the back entrance. I gave a few hard knocks on the metal door.
