Retribution

Evy P.O.V

The couch was terrible for sleeping in but Ozy had the better seat. Thankfully, we only slept for a few hours until the morning sun shone brightly. He woke up with the puffinest red eyes from his grieving. I kissed his head as he wordlessly got up to hear Galavan's T.V message. I joined him as Galavan poured salt in the wound by calling him incapable of a mother's love. In his rage, he smashed the TV with his walking cane.

"Galavan dies tonight!" Ozy ordered before storming off

"You heard him! Asses & elbows people. Arm up & get dressed." I commanded as Gabe stepped forward

"Dress how?" Gabe nervously asked

"Like Penguin, got it?" I growled as I held him by his collar

"Yep. I'll spread the word." Gabe stuttered as I threw him backwards. He quickly got everyone up to speed as I went to find Ozy

"Selina?" I shockingly said as I found her in the office

"You've been really hard to find. What a friend you are." Selina scolded me from the desk

"Sorry, things have been crazy lately. I didn't have a chance to check in." I explained

"Really, is it that crazy that you couldn't even tell me!" Selina yelled as Ozy came in

"My dear, is everything ok?" Ozy asked as he grabbed my hand

"Yes, Selina & I are just catching up. Can you help with the plans please?" I sweetly replied to send him away

"Of course, take your time." Ozy assured me before closing the door

"You know he's really made you selfish. Do you even remember the people you started with? Seems like me, Ivy & bridgit disappeared once he came." Selina sobbed

"Selina, of course I care. Galavan has screwed over lots of people I love with his schemes. I'm not letting that bastard get away with killing Bridgit. When I wring his scrawny neck, he will answer for her & getrude before hitting that cold shallow grave." I swore as my anger & pain overtook me

"He messed with the wrong girl. Give him hell for us street rats." Selina demanded as we embraced

"Gladly, I'm going to savour every second." I replied as we both sobbed over Bridgit

"When you're done with Galavan, you need to check in with home." Selina warned me as we broke apart

"What's wrong?" I asked as my heart began to race

"Aside from your butler slapping me, Bruce is deep in Silver's act. He threw me out when I visited  after completely missing her threatening to kill me if I stayed." Selina explained which made my blood boil

"Alfred won't ever do that again, I swear. I'm going to kill that little twat but please keep an eye out." I asked

"Thanks & will do, boss. Just let me know when you're dealing with her so I can join in." Selina replied before heading out

"Of course. See ya later." I shouted before heading to the basement

Everyone was grabbing their guns while Ozy oversaw. As I came in, it seemed like he & Gabe were in an argument. I lingered a bit so he could handle the situation. I figured that it was about Galavan based on Ozy's stiff body language.

"Boss, I get what you're feeling. A mother's love, it's the most beautiful, most simple..." Gabe buttered him up before being interrupted

"Gabe!" Ozy shouted from frustration
