26: The MIL

Siya's Pov

"Welcome, welcome, I missed you both so much," Kanishk's mom comes and gives each of us a hug and looks at us lovingly.

"Mom, you just saw us last month," Kanishk says, but she ignores him and smiles at me.

"How are you? Did he give you any trouble?" Mom asks looking at Kanishk who frowns at her and I laugh.

"Everything's good mom, how are you?" I ask as she pulls me inside the house Kanishk orders some helpers to keep our bags in the room as both Kanishk and Ayaan follows us inside.

Kanishk's house was a beautiful bungalow in Goa, with their own beach just a few steps away from the bungalow. It was just so beautiful, the front of the bungalow had a beautiful garden and the back side had a long beautiful private beach.

As we entered the house, I could see the rush of people decorating the house and a few of the relatives lounging around the living room. Kanishk came and stood beside me as we stopped and greeted his dad.

"By the way bhai, I'm surprised you came," Ayaan says as we walk together towards Kanishk's cousins.

"Why? You thought I wouldn't come?" Kanishk asks as he moves closer towards me such that, that his side of the body was touching mine as we walked and goosebumps spread throughout my body.

"No, I thought you would directly come on Holi, but here you are, leaving your work, to come and enjoy with family, it's a little hard to digest," Ayaan says and I stop myself from smiling as Kanishk gives him a glare.

"This is my house too, I can come whenever I want," Kanishk says and Ayaan looks at him with a teasing smile.

"And here I thought you came here because you couldn't stay away from Bhabhi, but now I see, come on Bhabhi let's go," Ayaan says as he pulls me towards the kitchen but Kanishk stops us by holding my hand in his tightly and pulling me towards him so that I was now plastered to Kanishk with my whole front body attached to his side.

And just like that my breathing skyrocketed just by being near him and his intoxicating smell was just making me feel some things that I never felt before.

"Shut up, go and annoy someone else now," Kanishk says and I look at him, breaking out of my thoughts which were just making me feel hot all over.

"Very bad Bhai, am I annoying to you now?" Ayaan asks and looks behind as Mom comes towards us and smiles widely looking at us and I realize our position and a deep blush forms on my face as I try to step away from Kanishk who just pulls me back to him even more.

"Mom look Bhai is-"

Mom gives him a glare which shuts him up and she looks back at me, "Come with me," She tells me and I nod as I immediately step out of Kanishk's arms and he gives me a look, which clearly told that he was displeased.

I start following Mom and Kanishk starts following me, "I only asked Siya to follow me," Mom says as she looks at Kanishk with a teasing smile.

"But mom, she's still new to this house, she might get lost on her-" Kanishk tries to say as Mom laughs.

"Kanishk behave," She says, with a smile on her face as Kanishk gives her a sad pout. "Go and meet your cousins, I'll return your wife to you soon," Mom says and I chuckle at the way Kanishk leaves involuntarily, not before looking at me which was enough to make me stop laughing and feel all hot and bothered all of a sudden because of the intense way he was looking at me.

What was with him today? All those intense and dark looks he was giving me were enough to make me feel flustered.

As Kanishk left I walked with Mom toward the Kitchen area where I saw lots of Kanishk's aunts and their daughters and daughter-in-laws sitting around, they all greeted me as I walked inside.
