Siya's Pov
"Why do I have to do this?" Kanishk groans from beside me as I stifle a laugh as he picks up another table lamp and walks away towards the living room.
"Because you love your brother," I say and follow him with some other things in my hand.
Rudra has officially moved to the penthouse beside us, the movers have already unloaded all the boxes and now the only thing left is to arrange those things, which means, I was literally doing my brother-in-law's interior designing and arranging all the stuff.
"No, I think I can precisely remember you blackmailing me into helping my brother by saying you won't let me touch you for the whole day if I don't come here," Kanishk complains as he sits down on the bed and watches me arrange the books on the bookshelf in Rudra's room. He has so many books, I'm in love with them!
"I don't remember doing that," I say, playing innocent, and move a step back and admire my work with the books, "I'm in love with this place, especially this bookshelf," I say, my voice going soft as I sense Kanishk coming and standing beside me as his hand goes and pulls me towards him through my waist.
"You love them?" he asks and I nod as we watch the bookshelf.
"Let's take it to our place then, I don't think Rudra reads them," Kanishk says and walks towards the bookshelf starting to pick up books and my eyes widen.
"Stop, what are you doing?" I ask letting out a chuckle just when Rudra enters the room with another huge box in his hand.
"Stop messing with my things and keep those books back Kanishk," Rudra says keeping down the box and glaring at my husband.
"Come on man, Siya loves it, I'm taking it with me, you don't even read books," Kanishk says as I see Rudra rolling his eyes.
"Kya kanjoos admi hai re tu? Bhabhi ke liye ek dusri bookshelf nahi order kar sakta?" Rudra says as I let out a laugh and Kanishk glares at Rudra. (How stingy are you? Can't you order another bookshelf for your wife?)
"Mein Kanjoos?" Kanishk asks, clearly offended, he turns towards me, "I'm gonna build a huge library for you at our home," he tells me as my eyes widen at his words, Library? "Library, you hear me, Rudra? Library, I'm gonna build my wife a library," Kanishk says to Rudra who looks at him shaking his head as we watch Kanishk leave the room determined and I look at Rudra with wide eyes. (Stingy? Me?)
"Why would you do that?" I ask Rudra chuckling as he shrugs his shoulder.
"You're welcome to come and read the books anytime you want Siya, but it's just another kind of joy to rile him up, did you see how his cheeks and ear went red?" Rudra asks and I shake my head at their ridiculous banter.
"You guys are weird," I say shaking my head, "I've unpacked and decorated all the things you brought, the rest, you have to call the interior designer, I know the designer is going to seriously judge me for what I've done to this place, but you need professionals," I say and Rudra smiles.
"Thank you, you've done an amazing job, Siya, as for the professionals? I don't like strangers invading my place, I have a person in my mind who'll do the work, don't worry," he says and I look at him confused.
"You do?" I ask, curious and he nods his head but doesn't say anything else.
"Anyway, I'm gonna go now, I have to leave for the office too," I say and he smiles as I bid bye and walk towards our penthouse to see Kanishk roaming all around our place inspecting something.
"What are you doing?" I ask as he turns around towards me.
"We have to redecorate this place," he says, and I watch him surprised.
