1 : The Rude Husband

Siya's Pov

"You've gotta be kidding me," I murmured under my breath waking up from my deep slumber only to realize that it wasn't my room.

I heard the shower running and my memory went to the other night when I got married and came to this house, it was a big bachelor pad precisely.

Last night after I left the wedding venue I remember walking to the car exhausted, the whole week had been exhausting. All the ceremonies, wedding jitters, and photo Shoot it was all getting on me and I was moments away from stopping the wedding only to have a good sleep.

But alas that didn't happen but finally, I was married. I looked at the room, it was actually beautiful, yesterday I didn't get to admire it because I was too exhausted to do anything especially admire the place I will be living from now on.

I stood up and decided to explore the apartment. I walked out to see another room across ours. It was a guest room, I decided to freshen up a little in the guest room before exploring the remaining place.

Once I was refreshed I walked out and into the living room. My Goodness, Kanishk actually made sure to use his money properly. Expensive paintings, huge vases, an expensive sofa set, and a dog...wait a minute, a dog?

As soon as the dog saw me he came running towards me. The dog was a Labrador, I think, and now it was running towards me and I was scared of dogs, why? Because they are hairy and smelly and they bite a lot.

So I wasn't just going to stand still when the dog was coming towards me because as soon as it reached me I let out an ear-deafening scream and jumped on the sofa looking at the labrador.

According to the dog language the thought of me screaming at top of my lungs must be I was playing with him that's why the next moment the poodle jumped on the sofa too and started coming towards me.

I let out a shriek again and started running on the other side when I heard footsteps coming towards us.

"What is happening over here?" I hear Kanishk speaking, as he stood there shirtless with a pair of black jeans, his face was half shaved and the other part still had the foam covering it.

"Your...your dog, take him away!" I whisper and shouted still running around while that poodle enjoyed running behind me.

"You are scared of dogs?" He asked unbelievably as if it was a crime to hate them.

"No I'm- I'm not scared, I just hate them." I say and saw him raise his eyebrows as if asking me 'really?'

"Hey baby yoda come here," he says and goes towards the poodle.

"Baby yoda?!" I say astonished. "You named your dog Baby yoda? You must really love that character." I say still standing on the sofa and seeing him giving me a look.

"I do not love that character, I just love the name." He says and I see his ear turning a tiny bit pink. Just a tiny bit.

A smile spread on my lips looking at that. I saw him taking baby yoda on his lap and caressing its fur.

I stepped down and sat on the sofa still admiring the two. "If you're staying here you've to adjust to getting used to this dog by the way cause he lives here." Kanishk says and stands up and the poodle suddenly stands up too and starts coming towards me.

"Woah...stop that animal right there!" I say and stand up and see Kanishk letting out a laugh.

"Okay, I will put him on a leash, for now, then free him when you're gone." He says and I sigh in relief. But what does he mean after I'm gone?
