Siya's Pov

The next day I woke up groggy and tired, a side effect of crying I guess. I was alone on the bed and realized Kanishk was already up, I looked at the time; it was nine in the morning, and I was very late. Kanishk must've already left for his office and he would be lea-

"Good Morning," Kanishk's voice reached my ears and I looked towards the door, where he stood leaning on the door, his hands in his pockets, as he stared at me with his soft gaze.

"Good morning," I say, and get settled on the bed properly and relax my head on the bedrest as I watch him, "You're still here?" I asked him, but it more felt like a statement, he was here, at this time of the day when he should be at the office.

"I'm leaving today, do you really think I would want to spend my time in the office, instead of here?" he asks, a small chuckle leaving his lips and I smile and remove the duvet standing up.

"I don't know, you keep surprising me," I tell him and he smiles.

"Well, in that case, one more surprise for you then, go get freshen up, I've made Kanishk special breakfast today," he says and I look at him surprised as a smile spreads on my lips.

"Really?" I say unbelievably, "You can cook?" I ask, knowing very well, what he can and cannot cook.

"You know me, I'm best in everything," he says smugly and I stop myself from rolling my eyes but let out a chuckle at his confidence.

"I will be the judge of that, give me ten minutes, and I'll join you," I say and walk towards the washroom, taking some fresh clothes on the way.

"The offer still stands by the way," his voice stops me and I turn around towards him, wondering what he is talking about, "If you need any help in the washroom undres-"

"Shut up Kanishk," I say chuckling and shut the door not before giving him a playful glare.

.

.

"What is this exactly?" I ask Kanishk who stood before me in an apron, looking sexier than ever, his days-old stubble making him look even more ravishing than he already is.

"It's Dosa," he says in a 'duh' tone and I stop myself from smiling. I looked down at the thick Dosa, which looked more like a pizza base than the Dosa it should look like and my eyes went towards the coconut chutney he prepared, the coconut pieces weren't mixed properly, and the pieces were big and thick as they weren't crushed properly.

I smile and look up at Kanishk who stands there eagerly waiting for me to review his surprise breakfast, "It looks appetizing," I comment and he finally smiles.

"Try it," he says and I nod my head and try to break the dosa into small pieces, but it didn't break and Kanishk cursed inwardly.

"I knew something felt off," he comments as he watches me trying to break the dosa. "Wait," he says and brings a fork and a spoon. "Now, try it," he says.

"Dosa with a fork and spoon?" I ask.

"Of course, you should always try something new," he says and I laugh and finally break a piece from the Dosa and dip it into the chutney and taking the name of God I finally put it into my mouth.

Too much salt, too much salt.

But I didn't show it on my face as Kanishk stood before me, waiting eagerly to know how the Dosa was and I gave him a satisfied smile and nodded my head. "Delicious," I tell him.

"Really? How good is it on a scale of one to ten? Do you think I can participate in the Masterchef?" he asks and I look at him shocked.

"Participate? No, you will win the Masterchef with this dish," I tell him and cut one more piece and dip it in the chutney, "Taste it, if you don't believe me," I say and feed him.
