Siya's Pov

This place was officially one of my favorite places I had ever visited. And Kanishk beside me was just the cherry on top.

I walked as Kanishk lead me to sit down in one of the chairs as he took a seat before me. I couldn't stop myself from smiling since the time I've gotten here and I don't want to stop the fluttery feeling in my stomach whenever Kanishk looks down at me.

My eyes went back to the ocean and I couldn't stop hearing the sound of the waves, it might just be one of my favorite sounds, the darkness with only the light illuminating from the moon and reflecting in the ocean was just something I never thought I would ever see and love so much.

I look back at Kanishk smiling to see him putting down his phone and I raise my brows, "Did you click my picture?" I ask, amused.

"Sure did," he says and I couldn't stop the shy smile from forming on my face. He has just been so sweet since we landed here and I don't think I would ever be ready for his teasings or romantic things he keeps on throwing at me randomly.

"I didn't realize you were this obsessed with me Mr. Kapoor," I teased, a sly smile on my face as I looked him up in the eyes and instead of feeling embarrassed or blushing as I thought he would, he shrugs.

"Of course I am, have you seen you?" He asks instead and it was my turn to blush.

How does he turn everything I say into a compliment? I cannot fantom this changed Kanishk and I cannot believe he has been hiding it all behind the mask of a rude and workaholic husband.

"You realize this has to be the first time we have gone out as a married couple after our marriage?" I say and see him calling a server.

"Yes, first of the many," he says as a server walks towards us with a wine bottle in his hand. Soon the server serves a red wine to both of us and leaves.

"I miss Baby Yoda, we should've brought him with us," I say a moment later.

"We would've but half of my relatives hate the dogs and they would've kept complaining the whole time instead of enjoying the festival," Kanishk says and I feel bad for my Baby Yoda, who can hate such a cute creature?

"Oh, then it's better we didn't bring him," I say as I take a sip of the wine.

"It's way better Siya," Kanishk says with a secret smile as I look at him curiously, "We left him with Dr. Dixit upstairs, and he has a female Labrador," he says and my eyes widened.

Oh yes, whenever I took out Baby Yoda, I realized he tends to spend more time with Alexa, the Labrador upstairs than any other dogs.

"You mean...-" I didn't finish the sentence, and let the silence convey my message as Kanishk laughs.

"Yeah, by the time we go, we may even get good news," he says and I close my eyes not wanting to think about Baby Yoda becoming a daddy just yet.

"Oh, God!" I say and Kanishk chuckles at my reaction.

"Anyway, let him enjoy his alone time and we should enjoy ours," he says clicking our glasses and I chuckle.

"So tell me, what do you like the most?" I ask, realizing we didn't know each other better yet and this was the best time to get to know each other.

"You mean aside from you?" he asks with a grin and I couldn't help but laugh at his flirting.

He has immense talent to make me blush even with the simplest of words.

"Yes, aside from me, what do you enjoy doing?"

"Working, today might've been the first time I haven't touched any of my work," he tells, "And to be honest, I don't think I worked because I loved it, it was just a thing I always did to spend my time because honestly, I didn't even enjoy the late night parties, or gatherings or any of the functions, I like my solitary," he tells me.
