Pain from the Past

He began to cough up flowers.

"The hell!? *cough cough* Crap! *cough* I left my treatment in my office *cough cough*" he said while standing up and walking up the hall. "But *cough* it only gets worse when she's around! *cough cough*" he says as he takes a right at the end of the hall. His coughing was getting slightly louder. But the moment he turned right, he saw her. "What the hell is she doing in Japan!?" He thought to himself. She was talking to one of her friends, a person who he knew as well. She facing him, but her friend was. That friend out on an expression that says 'look behind you'. She turned around to see Carlos, who was coughing up a large amount of flower petals, and he showed a look of pain and sadness in his eyes.

"Carlos?" She asks

With that he immediately ran in the opposite direction. She was shouting "WAIT!" But he still kept running. He tripped and stumbled, and eventually fell down. The Hanahaki was taking its toll. "C'mon, Philippians 4:13!" He shouted while coughing up even more petals. He immediately got back up and slowly walked away, doing his best to avoid her.

"CARLOS WAIT!" She shouted, but it was in vain.

He ran and jumped out of an open window, to land on the fire escape on the nearest building, but sadly, the Hanahaki took to much out of him, causing him to hit himself on the railing and fall and land painfully on the dumpster in the alley. She the whole thing happen, and proceeded too jump out after him. She landed on her feet and looked for him, but he was gone. He was looking down at her from the roof of a nearby building.

"Out of *cough* all the *cough cough* times..... *cough cough cough* you choose NOW to show up *cough cough*" he said as he picked himself up and began his uncomfortable trip back to UA. Once he arrived, he scrambled to his office in the teachers lounge, looked through the drawers of his desk, and found his syringes. He picked one up and injected himself with it. The coughing stopped, but he was still wheezing and tryin to catch his breath. Lucky for him, no one was nearby to witness this, sparing him the embarrassment.

"Why... Is she... Here?" He asks himself not knowing the answer.
