"I'm so excited!" Amybeth exclaimed as soon as the elevator doors opened. "Are you feeling nervous about meeting everyone?"

"Well, I'll be meeting all of my idols, so yes." I giggled shyly, cautiously stepping out into the fresh Canadian snow. The sun was oddly warm for being that time of year, but I wasn't complaining - it just made it a lot easier to cope with the extreme weather. "How long is the car ride from here to the set?"

"About half an hour or so, but it's fine. I've just bought a bunch of new CDs so we can have a little karaoke on the way." Amybeth grinned, and I instinctively mirrored her expression.

Jumping into the allocated car parked in front of the hotel, I was greeted by an older woman in the driver's seat. She was beautiful, and shared the same innocent smile as Amybeth.

"This is my chauffeur." Amybeth teasingly nodded towards the woman. "Mom, this is Christina."

"Nice to meet you, Christina." She smiled warmly, and I responded with a similar token of friendliness.

"Thank you for coming to pick me up."

"Oh, it was no problem. Amybeth wouldn't stop talking about you last night, saying how much she couldn't wait to show you around."

"Mom!" Amybeth groaned, receiving a devilish grin from her mother in the rear view mirror.

Music then began to play, blasting the tune 'can't stop the feeling' by Justin Timberlake as we finally set off onto the roads of Canada.

"Nothing I can see but you when you dance, dance, dance!" Amybeth screamed along to the chorus, making me chuckle at her confidence and freedom.

"A feeling good, good, creeping up on you so just dance, dance, dance-"

"Come on!" The three of us exclaimed together, each then laughing along with the tune.

It felt great to finally let myself loose after everything I had been through - the hate comments, the flights, the arguments, the audition, everything! I felt like I was finally beginning to love my life once again, and I never wanted that feeling to end.

About 20 minutes or so quickly went by, and we were onto our twelfth song of the album, our voices getting louder and clearer with each lyric as we all gained confidence from being around each other.

"Oh, I love this song!" Amybeth stated as she hastily leant forward to turn up the volume. "Their accents are simply to-die-for."

"They're just girls breaking hearts.
Eyes bright, uptight, just girls..."

"The 1975?" I chuckled with bewilderment, capturing the attention of both Amybeth and her mom. "I've got to admit - even I don't know what they're saying sometimes."

"That's what makes it so great." She insisted. "Every song is like a fortune cookie - you never really know what it means but it still sounds poetic!"
