"You took your time." I teasingly rolled my eyes as I opened the hotel door to reveal a cold-looking Lucas in a hoodie.

"I don't know if you've realised it yet, but there's a little bit of a blizzard going on outside at the moment, and Superman can only fly so fast in such an extreme climate." He winked, walking straight past me and placing a few DVDs down onto the bench. "So, this is your humble abode?"

"MTV-Cribs-worthy, right?" I nodded whilst gesturing to the room as a whole. "I mean, we've even got a kettle."

"Living the absolute high-life." Lucas pouted. "Whoa! Look at that TV! Twenty-seven inches of pure magic."

Despite wanting to keep up the sarcastic act, I couldn't help but laugh at Lucas' comments.

"You're such an dork."

"Thank you." He grinned, throwing himself down onto the bed. "Ow. This must be like sleeping on a rock."

"Yeah yeah whatever." I dismissed him by the wave of a hand. "What DVDs did you bring?" I quickly wandered over to the small selection of movies the curly-haired boy had brought, and almost screamed at the sight of The Lion King.

"I brought the Harry Potters just to be safe, but I also brought some Pixar and Disney because... Well, who doesn't like Disney?" He shrugged, sitting up from his original position on the bed. "What's that on your bedside table? It looks suspiciously a lot like lube... Not that I'd know what a tube of lube looks like."

I followed his gaze until my eyes focused on the unopened bottle of face mask; my eyes immediately lit up with an idea.

"It's a face mask treatment... We should do it!"

"What? No." Lucas frowned with distaste, shuffling away from the bottle as if he expected it to attack him. "Forget I asked."

"Please?"

"No."

"Please?"

"Absolutely not."

"It's either wearing a face mask, or watching Twilight from my iPad." I demanded with a devilish grin, meanwhile Lucas' face dropped with horror.

"I look ridiculous." Lucas moaned, peering at himself in the mirror from across the room. Personally, I thought he looked adorable with that raspberry face mask on.

"Not anymore than usual." I stated, reaching out for the TV's remote control and hitting the button to play the movie The Incredibles. "Now come on. It's time to put my mask on."

Lucas willingly sat down on the bed facing me in a cross-legged position, our knees touching as he leant across to grab the bottle of face treatment from behind me.

"I hope you look just as stupid as I do." He mumbled, smoothly sliding the gooey liquid between his fingers and finally pressing it against my skin.

"Oh wow it's cold." I complained, only to receive an unimpressed glare in return. "You look fine, Lucas - the sexiest I've ever seen you."

"I'm not so sure. My natural sexiness is pretty hard to beat." He shrugged, moving the gel-like liquid towards my hairline. "You have really soft skin, what the hell."

"See? That's what face masks do!" I giggled. I then paused to observe Lucas' facial expressions as he subtly opened and closed his mouth when concentrating on the application process. I thought it was cute, and a soft smile began to form at my lips.

"Why are you smiling? You're cracking my wonderful masterpiece!" Lucas complained, which only made me smile wider. "For goodness sake, woman!"

"I'm sorry, but you're adorable."

Lucas's eyes quickly locked with my own as he swiftly paused from applying the face mask. I was expecting him to say something sweet, such as 'do you really think so?'... But I should've seen the sarcastic remark coming from a mile away.

"You say that as if I don't already know."

"Man, screw you." I laughed harder than expected, and abruptly shoved him backwards by the chest. "Are you finished? I'm missing the movie!"

"Sure, I think that's as good as it's gonna get." He nodded, laying down on the bed and glancing between myself and the TV. "Well, aren't you going to lie down?"

"Next to a boy?" I joked, acting mortified. "Cooties!"

"I've deadass just wiped my fingers around your face. I think it's safe to lie down." He smirked, and I stared at him blankly for a moment before giving in and resting my head against the pillow.

"Now we've got to wait thirty minutes for the face masks to dry."

"Boring."

"You're boring."

"I'm the opposite of boring."

I slapped his chest, making him both wince and chuckle. "What? Do you not agree?"

"I do, but I just wanted to slap your chest." I childishly stuck my tongue out and manoeuvred myself so that I was closer. Without warning, Lucas smoothly slid an arm around the back of my neck and pulled me towards him, causing me to reflexively place a hand on his stomach to avoid a painful collision. I was half-expecting yet another sarcastic comment, but to my surprise, he only smiled.
