C11: Amourette

LEXI'S POV

I entered the cabin as I talked to Rosie on the phone. We were planning a surprise for Zoe. Kiana, one of her best friends, was coming and will be staying with us for the rest of the camp.

"When is she getting here?" I asked Rosie, who was listening from the other side of the line.

"She is supposed to be here today but she didn't tell me exactly when." Rosie replied.

"Okay okay! She's coming over here! I'll text you." I told Rosie quickly since Zoe was walking towards the cabin with Zack.

"Hey Lexi." said Zack joyfully.

"Hi guys, you seem really happy today" I laughed nervously.

"Yeah, we are. Are you okay Lexi? You seem really nervous." Zoe said smiling slightly.

"Yeah! I'm just fine!" I said nervously. Wow, I suck at this.

"Are you hiding something?" Zoe said clearly.

"Of course not! Why would I do that? Why would you say that?" I said quickly. Well there goes the surprise!

"I'm joking Lexi. You're too tense. Take some time for yourself." she said laughing.

"Anyways, I just came to put on my swimsuit. I forgot that there's a pool party today. If it weren't for Zack I would've forgotten about it." she said.

"Yeah, I was just heading out to meet Noah. We are going to get lunch with Isaac and Aileen and then we'll meet you there." I said.

"Alright, have fun!" she said as I left.

ZOE'S POV

"I'm going to the bathroom and change. Wait for me?" I asked while Zack played with my fingers.

"Or..." he started seductively. I looked at him with an 'oh hell no!' written all over my face.

"I'm joking Zoe. Geez you take everything seriously. I'll wait for you right here." he laughed.

"Alright." I opened the bathroom door and got in.

I was starting to get undressed when I noticed that the black swimsuit I had taken from my drawers was not a one-piece but a bikini. I groaned loudly.

"Hey babe? Are you okay?" asked Zack from the other side of the door.

"Yeah, can you check if I have another swimsuit on my drawers?" I asked angry.

"Uh.." he said as he checked my drawers. "Nope. I guess you have with you the only swimsuit you brought." he said.

"I didn't bring this. I SWEAR I'M GOING TO KILL LEXI AND MAYA!" I screamed loudly.

"Babe, it's just a swimsuit." he said calmly as if nothing was wrong.

"It is not JUST A SWIMSUIT!" I replied angry.

The thing is, the last time I wore a bikini was years ago. I didn't like bikinis because I've always thought that bikinis are for skinny girls with beautiful curves and if I compared my body with theirs there was a huge difference. I'm not fat, but I'm not as skinny as I would like to be either, and yeah, I have big breasts and a big butt but I'm not that skinny. I've never been confident enough to wear a bikini and that's actually the cause of constant fights I have with Lexi.

"Whatever, I'll just wear it with an oversized shirt or something." I said as I opened the bathroom door and got out.

"Zo, if you don't feel comfortable, we can just do something else. I'll stay with you by the pool and we can just talk or I'll give you one of my shirts and you can wear it as long as you want." he said with a caring tone.

"No. I'll just stay in the border and watch you have fun, I know how much you love pool parties." I said while I threw the clothes I had on recently in the hamper.

Zack was seating on my bed. He just stared at me. His eyes just glowed as if he was looking at the sky, full of stars.

"I just don't feel comfortable going to the pool and wear a bikini. Everybody will think I look ridiculous because we all know that bikinis are for really skinny girls and Lexi has known this since forever and she took my one-piece swimsuit and replaced it with a bikini! She can't expect me to just wear it!" I said agitated.

"Why not?" he asked as he signalled me to come closer. I sat beside him. "You can wear whatever you want. You can even wear a stinky, ripped dress and you would still look as gorgeous as you always do. You are not fat. You have nothing to hide. You have a beautiful and captivating heart, you should never hide that. So what if they don't think you look amazing in that bikini! Their opinions don't matter. The only opinion that matters here, is yours." he said as he slowly rubbed his hand through one of my thighs. "If you would ask me, I would say you look gorgeous in that bikini, and you haven't even shown me yet." he added smiling widely.

I smiled back.

"What did I ever do to deserve you?" I asked smiling, laying my head on his shoulder.

"You showed me your true self." he said as he leaned in. He kissed me softly. His hands went down from my back to my thighs, pulling me over him, as the kiss became more heated. I now sat on his lap. Our lips moved in sync as we slowly stopped kissing.

"Are you convinced?" he asked with a smirk plastered on his face.

"Very." I said as I pecked his lips once again. "Let's go, Maya and Shawn are waiting for us there remember?" I reminded him.

"Do we HAVE to? Can't we just stay like this all day?" he whinned.

"Don't tell me you forgot that the counselors were going to make some burgers in the barbeque with onions and extra cheese!" I said teasing him since I knew how much he loved them.

"We should go right now before Alex eats all of them!" he said quickly. Alex is a friend of ours that eats x5 more than I do and somehow he is extremely fit.

I laughed at his reaction and just stared at him for a second admiring his features.

"I'm probably the luckiest girl alive right now." I said smiling.

"How ironic, like Miss.I-hate-corny things, being corny." he said laughing. He kissed my forehead before I got off his lap and he stood up. We walked out of the cabin. I smiled widely as he grabbed my hand, thing he hadn't done before and I couldn't feel any happier.
