C25: Move On

ZOE'S POV

"We have first, third and fifth period together" Zack said smiling.

"Yay." I said smiling. "Wait... Where's Noah?" I asked.

"I suppose he's talking to Lexi." He said.

"I'm glad that they fixed their iss-- " I started but suddenly was cut off by a strong, intimidating voice. Blake's voice.

"I see you have a boyfriend now." Blake said.

"Well, you had your chance, it meant shit to you so... " I said shrugging.

"I'm Zack Andrews." Zack introduced himself.

"And I don't care." Blake scoffed back.

"No need to be an asshole, you've been playing that role for a long time now." I said interlocking my fingers with Zack's. Blake's face turned red as he clenched his jaw.

"I have a class I need to get to." I added, walking away as I pulled Zack's arm, leading him.

"Well.. he's an asshole." Zack said.

"He wasn't before." I said with watery eyes.

"When?" He asked a bit lost.

"Before that night, when I caught him cheating. He was completely different. He was loving and caring. He would do the anything for me." I said as a tear rolled down my cheek.

"Come here" he said before he pulled me closer and hugged me. "I'll always be here for you. I'll do the impossible for you. I don't want to see you crying for that idiot, do you understand?" He said holding my face between his hands. I nodded.

"Let's go to our first class." He added before wiping my tears off my face.

"Thank you." I said after taking a few steps.

"For what?" He asked confused.

"For being by my side, even in my bad days." I said before I stopped walking to look at him.

"I'm your boyfriend Zoe. I don't care if you have your bitch mode on or if you're angry, or sweet. I will always be here." He said before he started lean in. As we were about to kiss, the bell rang, signaling that we have five minutes to get to class before it starts.

"Shit" I said.

"Let it ring" he said before he kissed me. Slowly at first. A few second later, it got more heated.

"Okay, now we really need to go before this ends up differently." I said as I pushed him away.

"Okay, okay!" He whinned before we started to walk again.

A few moments later we entered our English classroom. I quickly spotted Lexi and Noah.

"What the heck you guys! You're in this class too?" I said before I ran towards Lexi and hugged her tightly.

"Yeah, we are." She said smiling.

"It was about time you showed up." Noah said to me as I hugged him.

"Well, your brother here was feeling a bit hor--" I pointed towards Zack before Noah cutted me off.

"Woah okay! Never mind, forget I even said that!" He quickly said.

"Nothing happened Noah. If it had, we wouldn't even be here." I said smirking towards Zack.

"Okay enough, sexbirds! I can't stand the mental picture." Lexi said before she burst into laughter. Zack chuckled.

"Good morning students, welcome to your English class. I am Mrs.Hernandez and we'll begin our class shortly." The teacher said smiling. I put my backpack in a desk Lexi had saved for me, next to her.

"Sucks being your mom's student huh?" I said to Lexi, receiving a pair of rolling eyes in return.

"It's horrible. I can't wait for this to be over." She replied.

"Oh come on Lexi. She's not that bad! You should give her a chance." I said.

"I've tried. Several times." She said, her eyes wide. I laughed in response.

"I swear, you have 0 patience." I said making a zero with my hand. She laughed.

"Exactly." She said.

I was looking for my English notebook when I look back at my desk and see a yellow post-it.

It read 'I want to kiss you so bad right now.'

I looked towards Zack who was in the desk beside mine.

"ZACK!" I mouthed. He laughed.

"WHAT? IT'S TRUE." he mouthed before laughing.

"CONTROL YOURSELF." I mouthed one last time before I opened my notebook and smiled at the thought of him.
