"Wake up Sleeping Beauty! It's your first day of Senior Year!" My mom said loudly as she turned on the lights.
"Maaa!! Déjame dormir!" I whinned as I covered my head with my pillow.
"Ningún 'déjame dormir'! Hurry up, there's someone waiting for you downstairs." My mom said snapping her fingers before leaving my room.
I went to the bathroom and washed my teeth and showered. After a few minutes, I got out and picked a casual but comfy outfit.

I followed my make up routine. I just filled in my eyebrows, applied mascara, a little amount of concealer and one of NYX's matte liquid lipsticks in a nude shade.
After looking myself in the mirror one last time, I rushed downstairs to see who was waiting for me.
"Zack! What are you doing here?!" I said excitedly before tackling him.
"Are you kidding? Missing your first day as a Senior?" He said hugging me back. "Let's go!" He said.
"Wait you're driving me?" I asked.
"Of course I am." He replied smiling.I returned the smile.
"Aren't you guys going to eat something before you go?" Mom asked.
"Don't worry Claire. I stopped by a diner and got us some waffles with nutella and strawberries." He replied.
"Oh my god yes!" I said dancing.
"I swear you're like five years old." He said laughing.
"Have a great day guys!" My mom said before I walked out the house and closed the front door behind me.
We made our way to St.John's Academy. The ride was full of carpool. I sang along loudly to New Rules by Dua Lipa while Zack looked at me smiling every now and then. Zack then sang along to Justin Bieber's Friends. Yes. He likes Justin Bieber's music as much as Shawn Mendes.
"Woah look at you. You're a popstar and you haven't even finished high school!" He said causing me to laugh.
"Oh shut up Justin!" I said back laughing as we entered the Academy's parking lot, later parking close to the entrance.
I started eatinf my waffles right away, so did Zack. We finished quickly.
"They were amazing!" I said with wide eyes. "Thank you baby." I said before pecking his lips. "I guess this is when I say goodbye and make my way to hell." I said making him chuckle.
"Don't be dramatic. You'll be just fine." He replied.
"Dramatic? Me? How dare you!" I said dramatically. We both laughed for a while. "Well, I'm sorry but I gotta go." I said frowning before kissing his cheek softly and taking my backpack from the back seat. I got out of the car and turned around to wave at Zack one last time, then continued walking.
"Zo, wait up!" He said causing me to stop walking and turn around again. He got out of his car and jogged towards me carrying a black backpack around his shoulders.
"Wait... Why are you carrying a backpack?" I asked confused.
"Surprise." he replied before a huge smile appeared on his face.
