C10: New Beginnings

ZOE'S POV

"Okay! You are going to tell me right now what happened between you and Zack!" Lexi yelled while she closed the door to our cabin. I really couldn't tell if she was excited or being extremely overprotective.

"It's not my fault you couldn't catch up." I mocked Lexi.

"Don't give me that bullshit Zo." she said annoyed. "I want to knowww" she whinned.

"Oh. Nothing." I started, acting as if nothing happened. "It's just that I told Zack I like him a lot and that I'm willing to try and have a relationship." I answered in a low voice and ran to the bathroom as Maya and Lexi ran behind me.

"You what! Zoe get out right now!" Maya screamed, more like shrieked, from the other side of the bathroom door.

"I HAVE to know the details!" Lexi screamed excitedly.

"Alright! I'll tell you. Let me take a bath so we can talk this over Netflix and ice cream." I screamed back.

"Alright! I'm going to wait and slowly die of curiosity while you take a bath but just because I love you!" Lexi said which I replied with laughter.

As water ran down my face I started remembering Zack's actions. Our kiss. How his touch has so much control over me.

*FLASHBACK*

He kissed me back roughly, while his hands travelled from my waist to the small of my back sending electricity shocks down my spine. I smiled into the kiss.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

He is just so special. He is nothing like Blake. He is caring, loving and unique.

I got out of the shower and dressed. I took off my contact lenses and put on my squared, nerdy-like glasses.

As I get out of the bathroom the girls just start screaming.

"Okay okay! Start talking!" they said.

"Geez! Can you guys just chill?!" I said laughing.

"I talked to Zack" I started saying as I sat down on my bed, "I told him that I'm going to try and have a relationship but that it will take time for me to trust him." I finished.

"Omg! It's finally happening!" Lexi said excited while Maya just squeaked.

"But I might have seemed desperate which is horrible." I said worried.

"Why would you seem desperate?" Maya asked confused.

"Because" I paused.

"Zoe!" Lexi whinned.

"Because I kissed him okay! There! I said it! I know it was desperate and a little rushed but I couldn't contain myself. I wanted to kiss him so bad." I said quickly.

"Girl! You like him. You need to understand that it is okay for you to like him. It is okay for you to care and it is definetly okay to kiss him." Lexi said. I smiled at both of my caring friends.

"I'm really happy for you Zoe." Maya said.

"Hey. Don't think I forgot about you and Shawn! You guysss! You're dating now!!" I said maybe too excited. "I feel like a proud momma." I said fake crying.

"Yeah. He's amazing. I just can't stop smiling when I see him. It's impossible." she replied.

The three of us hugged.

"Hey guys?" I paused. "Where's Aileen?" I asked.

"Don't worry. She's probably making out with Isaac." Maya said jokingly.

After that, I wouldn't stop babbling about how Clueless was amazing and how much I loved it the first time I saw it so Lexi looked it up on Netflix and we watched it. As the movie ended and I washed the ice cream bowl and Lexi's bowl of popcorn, since she didn't share, we stayed awake just talking about random things.

It was 2 am and my body had approximately 0% of energy, just like Maya and Lexi. We all decided to go to sleep. I closed my eyes as I recall "what an amazing day".
