~Chapter 16~

Third person's point of view.

Mito was just discharged from the Hospital. Being in such a critical condition stopped her from having any kind of visitors, so no one visited in the three days she was there except for Kakashi-sensei who seemed to be with her more than he was with his other students. She didn't doubt that when he was supposed to meet them that he used visiting her as his excuse for being late.

So when he left on the second day she told her assigned Doctor not to let him in and that he should be taking his duties with his other students more serious. Instead of ditching them or showing up late without a real reason for his usual tardiness. After hearing this the Doctor nodded and agreed saying he would tell Kakashi-sensei just that.

Walking to the Hospital grounds gate, Mito could sense Sasuke standing around the corner and when she stepped out onto the sidewalk he came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her cheek. "I missed you." he mumbled into her hair and squeezed slightly to show her how much he missed her.

"I missed you too, but shouldn't you be training with Kakashi-sensei for the final round of the exams?" Sasuke nodded and she turned to look at him, "I wanted to spend some time with you first." Mito chuckled and then leaned up to kiss Sasuke's nose. "I know how much you're liking his training, just because I'm your girlfriend and just getting out of the hospital doesn't mean you have to come see me."

He looked surprised by her words. "But you want to know how to make it up to me?" he nodded. Leaning into his ear she whispered softly what she would expect from him later on when he finished his training and as she explained his face got redder and redder with each word. When she finished she stepped back to inspect her handy work and smiled.

He literally had steam coming out the top of his head and his face was tomato red, which made her smile. "See you later, Sasu-chan." She kissed his cheek and stepped around him to go find Naruto, hoping he wasn't getting into trouble. Finding him near the public baths neck deep in the water she easily walked across the water to his side, crouching she looked down at him, "Nii-chan? What are you doing?"

Startled by her presence he screamed and nearly drowned until she reached in and grabbed him and pulled him to the surface. "Thanks, Mii-chan." she shrugged and asked again, "Still didn't answer my question, Naru-nii." Helping him to shore he told her he was getting training from Ebisu-sensei, said Sensei stood over by the girls' bathrooms yelling at an older man who looked to be peeping inside the baths.

Looking at the older man, Mito could sense incredible power coming from him, and her point was only proven more when he had no problem beating up Ebisu-sensei. Rushing to the downed teacher, Mito and Naruto relaxed when they saw that he was fine just unconscious. The old man having won against Ebisu thought he would be able to get back to his "Research" but he was confronted by the two Genins.

He knew exactly who they were, but didn't pay them any attention, till the girl screamed, "PEEPING TOM!!!" the woman in the baths came out dressed and full of fury. Attacking the older man he lay in a heap of steaming bumps and bruises, while Naruto rolled around laughing, the woman thanked Mito for telling them and left to go about their lives. Rolling her eyes at the older man's predicament she went and offered her hand to the man.

To help him up, surprised by this he took it and she pulled him to his feet. "I'm sorry about the beating you took Jiraiya-sama, but peeping is bad for your health." Jiraiya didn't know what surprised him more the fact that she knew who he was or that she apologized for getting him beat on by the women from the bath. "Anyway, see you around Nii-chan, I gotta find a teacher for the last half of the Exams."

Naruto nodded and waved as his sister left, she didn't know who she should ask to teach her for the month they had before the exams, Sasuke had Kakashi-sensei, Naruto was with Ebisu and Sakura didn't pass the prelims, which left Mito with no one. Decided to try and train herself for a week she went out to her team's training field and sat against one of the stumps, her legs crossed and her hands resting on her knees palms up.

After a few days of meditating and forcing her Chakra to be visible, she was able to make a ball of spinning wind in her hands, wanting to make it more powerful, she added clones into the attack and then added her teleportation mark to it, then an idea hit her, pushing the swirling ball of wind into a shape she made it into a blade, it took a lot of focus to do and she couldn't get it to stay in the shape longer than a few minutes before it would explode and disappear.  

It wasn't until the middle of the second week that she had finally perfected it, and in the process of doing that created an attack with the new wind blade. When she accidentally discharged the attack it left 3 huge gouges in the ground and took out more than half the forest, the blasts were nearly 30 feet high and probably visible from anywhere. Panicked that the Anbu or the other Jonins would scold her she quickly left and returned to Sasuke's place.

And when she got there she was greeted by a relaxing Sasuke on the couch, his nose in a scroll and bandages around his arm and hand. Worried she rushed to him and sat next to him taking his hand gently in hers. "I think Kakashi-sensei's jutsu is a bit too aggressive if it's hurting you just to learn how to use it." holding her hand back he smiled slightly. "I'll be fine, besides it's not like I created a new jutsu that nearly destroyed the forest with one swing."

Blushing she frowned, "Was it that big?" Sasuke nodded and set his scroll down and lay over Mito, him leaning over her pushed her onto her back so he could hover over her, "Yeah, but the only reason I knew it was you was because I could sense your Chakra when you did it." Mito chuckled, "did you come up with a name for it?" She nodded and pushed Sasuke's fringe out of his face and behind his ear.

"Kaze no Kizu." she said and he looked amazed, "Wind Scar?...Really...well then again it looked like scars when you were finished so I think the name fits perfectly." Mito chuckled and leaned up to kiss Sasuke. Groaning into it, Sasuke pressed himself closer into Mito, wanting to feel her completely pressed against him, smirking to herself Mito surprised Sasuke by using her teleportation mark to send them to his bedroom.

Chuckling against her lips he took her actions as a yes for them to further their relationship in one more physical, and deepened the kiss, it was no longer a laughing matter as they couldn't find anything funny, only hot and very erotic. Sasuke admired that Mito wasn't like any other girl, she wasn't underdeveloped or immature, she knew exactly what she wanted and how she wanted it, she wasn't shy to tell him.

Though he did get embarrassed when she turned the tables and took the reins and turned him into a puddle of goo.

Mito sleeping with her back to Sasuke had no idea that he was still awake, he lay with his chest pressed into her back. His left arm was under her and held her close to him as his other traced the swirls of the mark she had gotten from Orochimaru. He cursed his own weakness, and for the fact that he was unable to protect her, and even after just waking up from a pain-induced coma-like state she was able to beat the Otogakure ninjas sent by Orochimaru.

Mumbling in her sleep Mito turned and snuggled closer to Sasuke, her hands on his arm as her head lay against his chest, her sleeping face brought Sasuke out of his deep thoughts and he finally gave in to his exhaustion.
