~Chapter 26~

Third person's point of view.

Mito was visiting Naruto in his hotel before he and Jiraiya left for their search for Tsunade and Naruto's jutsu training. He was pacing the room waiting for Jiraiya "Naruto, chill out, you're making me dizzy with your pacing." Mito said and her brother finally sat down because he knew that with one eye watching other's pace made her sick and dizzy.

"Thank you." she said when he sat. Fidgeting with his fingers she came up with an idea. "Hey let's practice some small stuff, it's been a while since we've trained together just the two of us." he smiled and nodded, "Think you could teach me that awesome Wind Scar jutsu you used in the Land of Snow?" she chuckled and shook her head,

"Sorry, so far I'm still learning to control it and turn it into other things so until I finally finish fine-tuning it, it will only be a jutsu I can do." Naruto nodded, "Maybe I can teach you to do something kind of like Sasuke's Chidori, though." This made Naruto happy, he wanted to be able to make a Jutsu visible.

Sitting across from him, she held her hands up and focused her Chakra only to freeze and stop when she felt something in the hallway. "Mii-chan?" Naruto asked when she froze and a ghost pale colour came to her skin, Naruto stood up to grab water when a knock at the door distracted him.

Panicking she jumped for Naruto, as he opened the door to reveal the one man Mito hoped never to see again, Itachi Uchiha. Knowing he'd do something she wasn't going to let him touch Naruto, using her pre-marked kunai she teleported Naruto to her and Sasuke's house which was quite a way aways.

Standing before the older Uchiha defiant and angry she opened the door all the way to face him head-on. "Where did you send him, Mito." he asked but she glared, "I will never tell you." her words were dipped with venom and he could feel it, he wasn't used to it, she shared so many dreams with him and they wanted the same thing.

But seeing her like this, growing up, and marred by the life of a ninja it put another crack in his broken heart, reaching his hand out to touch her, all while Kisame and Itachi contemplate how best to find Naruto's new location from Mito, but Sasuke arrives and Itachi stopped from reaching out anymore to touch the eye patch Mito wore. 

Kisame is shocked at seeing Sasuke, not only because he looks similar to Itachi, but because he too possesses the Sharingan. "Itachi Uchiha...I'll Kill You!" Sasuke growled out as he locked his Sharingan red eyes on Itachi and his still raised hand near Mito's face. "You seem to be familiar with Itachi...who is this guy?" Kisame asked Itachi, but Itachi didn't answer.

"Sasuke's his younger brother..." Mito said her voice weak and shakey, she swallowed heavily and continued to watch the two Uchiha males, Itachi had yet to turn to Sasuke and was looking at Mito, who was so torn between her worry for Sasuke and her mixed feeling about Itachi, "I heard the entire Uchiha clan was wiped out..." Kisame commented,

Then added while looking at Itachi, "...by you." Itachi slowly turned to face Sasuke and they had a very intense staring contest before Sasuke roared in anger and activated his Chidori with a sheer power of will and focus on her chakra, "I've been wanting to say this to you...I've lived hating you...and also that I have lived only to protect Mito and to kill you..." he shouted.

His expression dark and hate-filled despite the declaration he made of protecting Mito in his death threat on Itachi, charging up his Chidori so much it was starting to burn him and take off skin, Mito getting worried, moved around Itachi to get to Sasuke but she was grabbed from behind and held to the wall by Kisame.

"You're not going anywhere Blondie, not till we get what we originally came here for." Glaring at him she lifted her legs and wrapped them around Kisame's arm, ripping her hands' out from his one big one, she twisted her body till she dislocated his arm and flipped him to the floor, but it was already too late,

Sasuke had attacked and Itachi had retaliated and had thrown Sasuke into a Sharingan induced Genjutsu. Something only he could pull Sasuke out of or Tsunade with her healing Ninjutsu. Kisame getting angry at the fact that she was able to slightly disable him, raised Samehada to cut down on her,

But Jiraiya showed up and protected her by summoning a human sized toad to block the hit. Taking this opportunity while Jiraiya ranted about himself, Mito used the toad to spring over and kicked Kisame as hard as she could aiming him towards Itachi so she could separate the two brothers and get Sasuke to safety.

Jiraiya complained about Mito ruining his introduction but she ignored him and raced towards her Boyfriend's prone body and his brother standing a few feet from him, Kisame was coming right at her his sword down low to cut her across the chest, but he would miss. He was fast, she was faster but worries slowed her down and even though she used her Flying Raijin,

She still lost her arm to Samehada. She couldn't even gauge the pain and appeared where her kunai hit in the wall over Sasuke. Knelt next to him, right hand on his shoulder and left arm bleeding puddles. "Mito!" Jiraiya shouted and lunged to attack but Kisame kept him from getting to her, while Itachi just stared at her in shock.

He knew she was protective of those she cared about but this was dangerous, she was willing to lose an arm for someone she loved. It made him jealous. Reaching for her she continued to glare and he was inches from touching her when Jiraiya activated his attack he stuck everyone in the stomach of a toad and told Mito not to move.

Not that she would anyway. Itachi seeing the trouble of this situation, looked away from Jiraiya for a moment to look back at Mito finishing his movement he took a long strand of her hair and his eyes narrowed at her, "We will find him, it may not be today, but one day we will find him and you won't be able to stop us." her hair slipped from his fingers and he and Kisame escaped.
