Third person's point of view.

Mito and the others were in the middle of an all-out bash fest with Obito and Madara, Mito was a blur flashing around beating on the two Uchihas like they were nothing while Naruto and the others jumped in when they could or when they had to, it was going well if it wasn't for her stopping in the middle of an attack to stare out into the distance at something.

It was strong and powerful; and with Sasuke and his team. "Naruto, I have to check something." She didn't even wait for his answer and was gone, Kakashi looked at Naruto and the latter at his teacher, both bewildered by Mito's actions, "She wouldn't have left if she didn't think we could hold our own." Naruto said and Kakashi smirked,

"She's right about that," Naruto grinned and turned back to the two Uchihas.

Mito arrived at the opened Uchiha shrine and went in without hesitation, she could sense multiple chakra signatures, several familiar ones and three unfamiliar ones, there were eight in all. She recognized Sasuke, Jugo, Suigetsu, Orochimaru, and Sarutobi. But there were three unfamiliar ones,

Coming down into the fire lit room she was met with the backs of four of the familiar ninjas and one face of the Third Hokage, Sasuke turned first when he sensed her, "Mito!" he said smiling then rushing to her side to embrace her, "What did I miss?" she asked hugging him back and smirking a bit,

"Not much, besides it's all self-explanatory if you look at it," Looking around him, she took in the four forms of the Hokages and then looked back at Sasuke, "Yeah, pretty much, but let me get this straight, Orochimaru got his arms back, and summoned the Hokages for help and questions then." Sasuke nodded, "More or less."

Ruffling Sasuke's hair with her hand he swatted at her and moved towards the Hokages, Standing across from them they looked to have just finished talking with Orochimaru, "Lord Hokages, it is an honor to meet you but we have a war on our hands anything you can provide will help." she said very maturely,

"Hey, she looks like you," the first Hokage said pointing at the Fourth, "except the eyes those look like an Uchiha's." Hashirama said pointing at Mito, "My name is Mito Uzumaki, I-" "Wait! Did you say your name is Mito?" Minato said cutting her off, "Yes, that is my name, Lord Fourth." she said being extra formal with him. She wasn't stupid she knew exactly who he was.

And it angered her to almost no end. "I'm your Fath-" "I know exactly who you are, as proud and happy as my brother is, I am not." she said turning and leaving the room, "Sorry about her, she didn't have the easiest time growing up, Naruto constantly getting into trouble pulled her into it and she would take his beatings for him while he got off without a scratch." Sasuke explained.

"It was like that for the longest time, Minato. She even lost an arm protecting him." Sarutobi explained, "She took on a lot with Naruto, our team as well, it was like she was the Jonin while the rest of us were under her tutelage." Sasuke explained finally figuring out as he said it. "Despite what she said, I know she would really like to get to know you," Sasuke added,

"Even if it's for a little while," he finished, Minato turned to Sarutobi and the older man nodded, "The young Uchiha is right, Minato. Go to your daughter, you will be filled in later." Sarutobi said encouragingly, nodding Minato walked by Orochimaru and the others to follow Mito.

Outside, she sat with her back to the entrance her legs crossed and her hand lay on her knee, she had her eyes closed as she meditated, it wasn't for anything other than to calm her mind and heart on all the emotions and questions that swarmed around in her, "Mito?" Minato called trying not to startle her,

"What?" she said, her tone was blank, Minato couldn't tell what she was feeling, it worried him. "Could I talk to you for a bit?" he asked, "You already are." she said sarcastically, he sighed, "I guess I deserve that, huh?" he said sitting across from her mirroring her position, "What do you want from me?" she snapped darkly, still struggling to reel in her emotions.

"I want to get to know you." he said, his eyes locking on her, he took in her single arm and what was left of her other one, along with all her scars, the one across her eye reminded him of Kakashi, "He's fine, he was my teacher and the leader of our squad." she said seeming to have read Minato's mind,

"What?" Minato mused, "You were thinking about Kakashi," Minato opened his mouth to say something but she was right, "How could you tell? Am I that obvious?" she shook her head, "I grew up around Uchihas they are very good at hiding all kinds of things it just takes getting to know the facial expressions to tell what someone else is thinking." she said,

"Also you were staring at my eye," she added while closing her eyes again to avoid looking him in the eye, "How did you get it? The eye scar, that is." he asked, "It's not just a scar, I lost my eye. A mission out in the land of snow, doesn't matter though, so don't ask anymore." she said telling him but also being vague.

"Oh, can I ask about your brother?" Minato said and her eyes opened and her brow rose and he could tell from her expression he was walking on thin ice with her, "Why? You sealed some of your Chakra in him in the case of the Kyuubi's escape, so you've somehow seen him." Minato nodded, "At least you didn't punch me like he did." Standing up she scoffed,

"At least." she hissed before walking off, Sasuke coming out to check on her saw her expression and paled, Minato coming over to him sighed sadly and looked scarily like Naruto when he was upset, "What happened?" Sasuke asked, "She is very hard to apologize to." Sasuke nodded completely agreeing with Minato.

"Yes, I would know, I still don't think she's completely forgiven me for my fight with my brother, she respected my brother a lot, he took a lot of pressure off her shoulders and taught her almost everything she knows about being a ninja, I think she was even in love with him at some point, might still be, but I always hope that she'll love me as much as she loved him." Sasuke said,

His expression changing a lot what Minato saw in the room he was summoned in, "You're in love with her." Minato pointed out, "Since I first laid eyes on her," Sasuke said honestly, not even realizing it was her father he was talking to, panicking a little Minato waved him off, "It's fine, Sasuke-kun, she obviously doesn't think or see me as a Father," Minato said sadly,

He wanted her to though, but that wasn't going to happen over time as he would be returning to where he was summoned from or he would finally be released and he wouldn't get to spend proper family time with either of his children, he would have to make do with the time given and hope that she somehow sees that he cares about her,

That he regrets not being there for her and Naruto while they were growing up, he hates that his little girl grew up without her father, he would have loved being that over-protective father that scared away the boys that came to ask for his permission to date his daughter, he's actually pretty sure that Naruto would have joined him in the fun of scaring boys away,

But Kushina would have been the scariest what with her red-hot temper. "Stop staring at me like that, we have work to do." Mito snapped as she walked past Minato and Sasuke, kissing the latter on the cheek as she went back inside, to talk with the Hokages and plan out a battle strategy.

"Oh boy, how long was I staring?" Minato asked Sasuke, "a while, it was starting to creep me out too." Minato apologized and they went back inside.
