Caitlyn skipped down the sidewalk, trying to find her secret place that she always goes to when she wants to be alone. The six-year-old girl studies the trees and listens to the sounds of the birds sing, loving the feeling of nature around her. Caitlyn likes being alone though she is not anti- social or shy. Sometimes she just needs to be in her own element. So she heads to her secret place in the forest, seeking refuge there in the trees.

Caitlyn is lost in her childhood dreams as she continues skipping her wavy black hair breezing past her as she does. It's when she passes a small enterence to the forest boadering the sidewalk that she pauses.

"Caitlyn...." A deep male voice calls to her from the forest and for some reason it sounds familiar to her.

She stops skipping and looks into the trees, then turns towards them. " Hello," she calls into the forest.

At first, Caitlyn is afraid but then it's nice as If the air in front of her starts to ripple suddenly everything around her is ethereal. The atmosphere sparkles and glistens with a pure white tint and the air keeps rippling... everything suddenly feels at peace. So she closes her eyes enjoying the feeling and steps forward into the forest.

The only light into the forest comes from the treetops above shinning down upon the open spot that Caitlyn walks into. There are no trees in this area and the sound of her feet crunching against the leaves fills in the silent void but Caitlyn does not notice. Her eyes are still closed. When she finally opens them Someone is in front of her.

Her stands before her his brown hair hanging over his eye. His eyes are the best part about him. They're grey almost white with a golden ring around the pupil but they're lovely. He's perfect, but sad. He looks at her in amazement but there's a hint of gloom in his eyes. He falls into his knees in front of her coming down to her height.

And she swears that in the light she can see wings protruding out from his back but all Caitlyn does is smile, extend her hand and speak in her joyful voice. "Hi im Caitlyn, what's your name."

He had been looking down at the ground but then he looks back up at her. There are tears in his eyes but he still smiles, still on his knees he surprises Caitlyn by pulling her into a hug so warm that for a second everything around the two of them disappear and Caitlyn and the strange man are left alone in their own minds yet all he says is one thing.

"That's a secret."
