DEAR LITTLE BIRDY,

Today I took you to the park. Mum said I should. Probably to get me out of her hair.

I was reluctant though.

What if he runs away? I asked her. She laughed and said you'd be doing us a favour.

I guess I ended up taking you either way. I was so afraid you'd leave me.

But you didn't.

You seemed afraid. It must have been so foreign to you. After years and years inside...could you even remember the look of a tree?

The bright greens and yellows of the trees and flowers. The irridescent laughter of children.
It frightened you.

You flew close by my shoulder and kept silent until we got home.

You're a forest bird.

Im sorry I didn't know. We were supposed to enjoy today.

We have two more days little birdy, but I fear I have wasted time.
