January 15th,

Jema isn't fairing well mamma. She still happens to think that you went shopping and lost your way home. That the bus was running late and maybe you're still on your way.

I suppose she's quite too young to understand. I suppose it's good that she's too young. I don't want her heart to be broken just as mine is.

Father almost slapped her today mamma.

I stopped him, told him she's too young, in denial and does not understand. His eyes narrowed at me and he murmured something under his breath.

He retreated to his room. I think I heard light sobbing from inside. He'll be in there for a while.

The days are passing by at a snails pace, and soon, Jema will realise that something is very wrong, you haven't lost your way home and we're going to have to bury you soon.
