"If I could change the world overnight, there'd be no such thing as goodbye. You'll be standing right where you were and we'd get the chance we deserve."

-FLASHBACK-
Eddie slowly made his way to the empty classroom that the first writing session would be in. He wasn't looking forward to seeing anybody, he just wanted to be gone. Today was like every other day. Richie would make his day only to have Peter ruin it. Eddie really liked Peter but he didn't like when he would try to take control over his life. There were a lot of things the smaller boy wanted to do before he got in a relationship. He didn't even fully know if he liked the kiss between him and Peter. He didn't have much to go off of since that was his only kiss. As he walked down the halls, he thought of ways to ask Richie to kiss him. Hey, kiss me? No, he thought. "Kiss me," he groaned at the demanding comment and shook his head. "Will you please kiss me?" Eddie shook his head again and thought of another way to ask.
Once he pulled open the door, he was shocked to see Richie sitting at a desk. He was even more shocked to see him writing. A small smile approached his face while he watched the boy in front of him. Richie was one of the only people who could make Eddie's day better. "Hi," Eddie spoke softly. "You're here early."
Richie's eyes instantly met his friend's and he nodded quickly. "Eds," he grinned. "I just wanted to start my story. It's about the long night I had with your mom last night." The comment made Eddie roll his eyes and flip Richie off.
"Every time we have some sort of moment, you make a stupid mom joke," Eddie ranted. "I don't know if it's because you get uncomfortable or because you want to get on my nerves- just stop it. It's getting really old, Richie."
There was a pause in their conversation. Richie took a deep breath before standing up and facing Eddie. "So that was a moment?" he asked, trying not to sound too hopeful. Something was different between the two and both of them took notice of it.
Eddie's eyes widened as he grew anxious. "What- I- no- that's not what I meant," he responded. Richie just nodded his head slowly and watched the other boy. "So," Eddie changed the subject, "I need your help with something."
"Okay," Richie said. "I'll help you with whatever you want."
"You don't want to know what it is first?" Eddie questioned.
"I don't care, I'll help you."
"Are you sure?"
