Bill stepped inside of the grocery store with milk on his mind. He, Stanley, and Georgie were making chocolate chip cookies. Little George realized there was no milk and Bill offered to go to the store while Stan watched his brother. The two made a great team when it came to watching George. The three of them never grew tired of each other's company. It always felt warm and welcoming to see the boys together, Bill's mom loved it. She felt like she was actually getting her family back.

None of it would be possible without Stanley. Not only did he help and guide Georgie through his nightmares and his fears, he also helped Bill too. Stan brought out the good in Bill, he lifted him up when he needed it most and gave him the attention he never got. When you put Georgie, Bill, and Stanley together it was like a dream team.

A lot was on Bill's mind while he walked through the aisle to get to the milk. When he made it to his destination, he opened the freezer. "Hey, Bill!" The stuttering boy tensed up at the words and slowly turned around, hoping for it to be someone he actually liked.

When he turned around, his face lit up at the sight of Lizzy and Max. "H-hey, Liz," he grinned. "Hey, Max. What are you guys doing here?"

"My mom made us come with Peter since he's grounded. He must have seen you walk by our house or something. You know how he is," Lizzy sighed but a smile slowly approached her face when she looked down at her and Max's hands. "It sucks we had to come with him because we were studying."

"Sure, 'studying' let's call it that," Max remarked, a smirk present on her face as she spoke. Lizzy nudged her side and turned to Bill.

"What else do you call studying?" Bill questioned, genuinely curious. Max shook her head at his innocence and laughed softly to herself.

"Anyway," Lizzy spoke up, "What are you doing here?"

"I'm g-g-getting milk for Georgie," Bill answered with a small smile.

"I heard about that! Georgie was found! That's really amazing, I'm so happy for you, Bill," she told him. "He's a great kid." Bill nodded his head at her statement. "He deserves a lot better than this shitty town but at least he's got you."

Max nodded along in agreement. "Yeah, that's all you can do, be there. You and Stanley can handle that."

Bill smiled at the mention of his boyfriend. "Y-yeah."
