"I honestly can't believe you would lie to me, Billy," Stanley complained. "Why didn't you just tell me that you saw and talked to Peter when you went to the store? Are you trying to keep something from me-"
"I d-didn't lie," Bill stuttered. "I simply didn't tell you because I knew you'd r-r-react this way. There's nothing I'm trying to keep from you and you know that. I don't get why you're making such a big deal out of this." He began walking to the living room so he could avoid any eye contact with Stanley. The two had only had one fight throughout their relationship, this happened to be their second one. What made it worse was that their second fight was on the same day as their first one.
"Because I know how Peter is," Stan argued. "He's a really shitty person, Bill. Even his sister sees that. You know what he did to Eddie- he doesn't deserve your friendship. And the only reason he wants to be your friend is so he can manipulate you into being his boyfriend. You can't trust him. If he ended up succeeding, he'd probably hurt you too-"
Bill faced him before cutting him off, "We aren't fr-friends, Stan. When I saw him at the store, he asked me if I thought about going out with him and I told him no. You know why? Because I actually g-give a fuck about you. I don't know why I do but I do. Then after that, he said something smart about Eddie and I said that I would break his nose like Richie did. Look, our first fight wasn't bad and I didn't mind it that much, but now you're r-r-really starting to piss me off, Stanley."
"Alright, this is our second fight and it isn't going to be our last, but you have to understand where I'm coming from," Stanley sighed. He stepped towards Bill, moving his gaze to the floor as he tried reaching out for his boyfriend. When Bill took a step back from him, he let out a groan. "I'm not trying to be an asshole, Bill. I'm really not. Do you even understand where I'm coming from?"
"No, actually, I d-don't," Bill replied, sitting down on the couch. "You're just being insecure and it isn't attractive. I know relationships come with fights but they also c-come with trust. You know I wouldn't do anything to hurt you, Stan. I don't get why you're making s-s-such a big deal out of nothing."
"I'm not insecure," Stanley protested, sitting so he could be next to Bill. He brought his hands up so he could hold the other male's. His hands intertwined with Bill's while he continued, "I just don't want you to end up like.... Eddie. I'm praying that he's okay and that he'll come back with Ben, Richie, and Mike. All I'm saying is that you and I both know that there's a chance that he won't-"
