"There's a love between us still but something's changed, and I don't know why. And all I wanna do is go home with you but I know I'm out of my mind. I wanna touch you but I'm too late. I wanna touch you but there's history."

-FLASHBACK-
+PART 1"We're leaving now," Eddie told his mom as he pulled on his boyfriend's sleeve. He wanted to get to school as soon as possible. He needed to talk to Richie and he knew he couldn't do that with Peter glued to his side. "I love you, see you soon!" he shouted while stumbling outside. Eddie quickly made his way to Peter's car. He opened the door and slowly got in.
"Put-"
"Put my seatbelt on," he interrupted. "I'm doing that- I don't need you to say it." Eddie put on his seatbelt and sat in silence. There were a lot of things on his mind and Peter wasn't one of them. When his boyfriend began driving, he turned to him. "Why were you talking to my mom about my medication?"
Peter shrugged, "I just told her it was a good thing that you were taking them." Eddie reached out his hand to turn on the radio but he stopped himself when he remembered that Peter would get mad. He didn't like distractions. Instead of pulling his hand back to his side, he played it cool and reached out for the other male's hand and placed it in his. He knew Peter was a safe driver so there was no need to worry.
Eddie laughed and shook his head. "You know the medication I take is bullshit, right?" he questioned. His laughter went away and a blank expression rested on his face. "I would stop taking them but I'm afraid she'll hurt me," he whispered.
"That's crazy," Peter told him before chuckling slightly. "A mother wouldn't hurt her own son, Eddie. You're being dramatic."
"I guess you're right," he sighed, a frown making its way to his face. Eddie pulled his hand away from his boyfriend's and lowered himself into his seat. "You're always right, huh, Peter?" he asked sarcastically.
"I'm only right when it comes to you, Eddie," Peter responded. He kept his attention on the road and barely put any effort into his conversation with Eddie. He put on a fake smile before adding to his statement. "I know what's best for you."
"That's what my mom says," Eddie mumbled, a feeling of disgust washing over him. "She tells me she knows what's best for me, even if she doesn't. Everything you have ever told me, I've heard from her."
"Well," he said, "Your mom is a smart lady."
When they finally arrived at school, Eddie quickly got out of Peter's car. He began walking but was pulled back by his controlling boyfriend. Peter wrapped an arm around him and put on another fake smile. "Why are you in such a rush?"
