“So you talked to Asiah?” Kevin asks
“Yeah, it was weird I felt like I was talking to a completely different person”
“It's been a whole year”
“Yeah, but she's changed so much”
“How?”
“She's in this stable relationship with a guy who has a kid”
“Wait, Asiah's with man that has a kid?”
“Yeah”
“I never take her as the type to deal with baby mama drama”
“Me either”
“Specially since she was done with you when Casey was tellin' everyone she was carrying yo' seed"
“I know and now she's with some other nigga that has a kid”
“I bet he's got baby mama drama he just doesn't let Asiah know about it”
“Probably” I say nodding my head “So when you getting out of here?”
“In the next few days” Kevin says
“So how does it feel to be a dad?” I ask
“Good, Terrence is just what I need to get my life back on track”
“That's good man, so where's Angel and Terrance now?”
“They'll be stopping by soon she called before you came by”
“Oh word?”
“Yeah"
The door opens revealing Angel holding Terrance
“Speak of the devil” I say
“Y'all were talkin' about me?” she says
“Yeah, but only good things I swear” I say
“Sure” she says
“Hey little man I'm your uncle Chris”
“You wanna hold him?”
“Hell yeah I do” I say
“Be careful with my son, Brown” Kevin says
“Psh, man I've got this” I say taking Terrance in my arms
“Aww, Chris you look good holdin' a baby” Angel says
“Yeah, you do, looks like we've just found our babysitter for life” Kevin says
I laugh “I'm coo' with that cause little man right he is coo' just like me” I say realzing that I want a baby much more then I thought.
*Elijah's POV*
I wake up to the smell of breakfast I walk downstairs into the kitchen
Asiah and Alexis are at the table eating
“Morning babe, you excited about tomorrow?”
“Yeah, my first day at Med school”
“What's that?” Alexis asks
“Well baby girl daddy's going to become a doctor”
Alexis frowns she hates doctors
“But he's going to be a good doctor no needles or shots” Asiah says saving me
“Okay” Alexis say eating a strawberry
“So I talked to your mom” Asiah says
