*Chris' POV*
I knock on Victoria's door I wait for a moment and Asiah opens the door “Hi” she says softly
“Hi, can we talk?” I ask
“Sure” she closes the door and comes outside we sit on the porch steps
“I'm sorry about Elijah”
“Remember how you were telling me he's a shady guy”
“Yeah” I say nodding my head
“He had a past life where he did what he had to do”
“What the hell is that suppose to mean?” I ask getting mad
“Elijah, told me things about his past and I've accept it"
“What? He's obviously into some dangerous things--”
“Don't come over his mother's house and tell me things about Elijah while he's in a hospital dying”
“The news is saying this was a turf war between gangs is that true?” I ask
“It's time for you to leave” she says standing up
“Asiah, please I'm trying to help”
“I don't want your help”
“You may not want it but you need it”
“I'm so tired of you thinking that no women can live without you...I don't want or need you Chris” she says walking up the steps
“So that's it!” I yell
“Yes, what else do we need to talk about?”
“Us” I say softly
“You need to leave right now!”
“Please”
“Damn you again” a voice says
I turn around and see the same guy that was at Elijah's house a few days ago he said he was his brother but I'm not too sure about that
“Raheem, what are you doing here?” Asiah asks
“What's he doing here?” I ask
“You both need to leave” Asiah says
“I've got the money” Raheem says
“Money? For what?” I ask
“Why don't you take your punk ass somewhere else” he says to me
“How did you get it?” Asiah asks
“I got from a friend” he says
“Goodbye, Chris” she says
“Yeah, deuces Chris” Raheem says
“I'm not going anywhere”
“I thought we had this discussion a few days ago” he says holding his waistband of his jeans
I suck on my teeth “Fine, but this ain't over” I say leaving
*Asiah's POV*
Victoria and Raheem talk in private while I go upstairs to check on Alexis
“Mommy”
“Hmm”
“When will daddy come get us?” she asks
