“That was fun” I say sitting next to Asiah
“Yeah it was, I'm happy we're finally done cleaning”
“Me too” I say
“Alexis is asleep and now it's just us what do you wanna do?” I ask
“I just want to watch a movie with my boo” she says
“Sounds good to me”
The door bell rings “I'll get” I say
“Okay, I'mma go change"
“Alright, be back in five”
“M'kay” she says leaving
I get off the couch and walk over to the front door I open the door
“Raheem, what are you doing here?” I ask angrily
“I can't come and see my brother and niece?”
“That's right, you need to leave”
“Bro, chill out” he says
“Elijah who's at the door?” Asiah's asks
“Who's that?” Raheem asks
“Nobody, now leave”
“Elijah” she comes over “Who's this guy?”
Raheem pushes me so he can stuck his head in “I'm Raheem Jackson, I'm Elijah's brother”
Asiah looks at me “You never told me you have a brother”
“He's not my brother” I say angrily
“Yeah, I am we've got the same dad but different moms”
“Who's older?”
“Me” Raheem says
“Why don't you come inside” she says
“That sound nice” he says pushing me so now he's fully inside
I clench my jaw "Fine"
“What's your name beautiful ?” Raheem says
“Asiah”
"Why you with my lame ass little brother when you can be with a real nigga like me" he says smirking
“That's enough, Raheem, what do you want?”
“Look, I need a place to stay for awhile--”
“No”
“Elijah” Asiah whines
“Asiah can I talk to alone in the kitchen”
“Sure”
“Don't touch anything” I say to Raheem before walking into the kitchen
“Why can't he stay here?” is the first thing that comes out of her mouth
“Raheem isn't what he seems okay I don't want him around our family”
“But he his family”
“Babe, I promise I'm doing this for a very good reason” I say kissing her forehead
“Alright”
Asiah and I leave the kitchen and Raheem is nowhere to be found “Great, now this nigga is roaming around in my house” I say under my breathe
