*Asiah's POV*
I pick up Alexis and our carry on bags once we leave the plane I wake Alexis up
“Are we here?” she asks
“Yup” I say
We go over to the luggage wheel I pick up our other two bags then we exit the airport
“Where are we going?” Alexis asks
“It's a surprise” I say because I'm still thinking about where we're going
I don't feel like dealing with my family asking me a bunch of questions about Eli or Alexis I guess were gonna to a hotel for awhile
I hail a cab Alexis and I get
“Where to?”
“The Hilton” I say
“A'ight”
I check into a simple room a the Hilton
“There is a pool” Alexis says looking out the hotel window
I walk over to her “Yeah it is good thing we brought your swim suit” I say
“Can we go swimming?”
“Yeah, tomorrow, it's late baby girl” I say
“Okay” she says yawning
Alexis lays on the bed she finds sleep a lot quicker then me
I try to call Elijah but I get his voicemail I hand up instead of leaving a message
I go over and sit on the small couch in our room I turn on the tv I watch it makes me forgot my problems for a brief moment my eyes slowly close sleep grabs me pulls me into a dreamless sleep.
“Mama”
I slowly open my eyes “Morning baby”
“I'm hungry” she says
I laugh “Let's order some breakfast”
“Okay”
I pick up the hotel phone and order us some breakfast
“Whatcha watching?” I ask
“Winx” Alexis says staring at the screen
I pick my phone to see if I have any missed call or text but I don't
“Instead of going to swimming you wanna go to a water park”
“Yeah” Alexis shouts
“Okay after breakfast will go”
“Yah!”
I kiss her forehead “I love you”
“I love you, too, mama”
There a knock at the door I get off the couch and get the door “Morning ma'am”
“Morning Jake” I say reading his name tag
He rolls our breakfast into the room
I give him a tip then he leaves
I lift the tray revealing two plates both with chocolate chip pancakes, bacon, and scrambled eggs
“Looks yummy”
“I bet it is”
I cut her pancake into small pieces we sit on the floor and watch morning cartoons while we eat
*Drake's POV*
I stay for the benefit of the unborn child in Nicki's womb whether I like it or not there is a strong possibility that she's carrying my son or daughter
“Are you awake?” Nick says
“Yes”
“I'm really sorry for yesterday”
“Me too”
I turn on my side to face her
“Is there anything else your hiding from me?”
“No, are you?”
“No”
“Are you sure?”
“Nicki, I know you feel insecure because of Asiah but you don't need to compete with her, she's not in the picture”
“Just because she's not in the picture doesn't mean your not thinkin' about her”
“But that's the thing I'm not thinkin' about her I'm thinkin' about you and our child” I say
She chews on her bottom lip “Really?”
“It's obvious this marriage is flawed but we've got to make it work for our child”
“You want to be in his or her life?”
“I want to save this marriage for our kid I don't want our child to come from a broken home like me”
“Me either” she says
I kiss her forehead “I kinda want a girl”
“Me too” she says
