The Next Day
*Asiah's POV*
The door bell rings I get up and asnwer it standing there is Chris
“Oh, I wasn't expecting you” he says
I give him a weird look “This is my house so who else would you expect?”
“Elijah” he says
“Well he's at school so is there anything I can do for you?”” I say folding my arms across my chest
“Yeah, I came to pick Devon and Jordin”
“Okay, you wanna come inside while I get them?” I ask
He sticks his hands into his pants “I dunno know”
“Okay, you can stay here if you like” I say leaving
“I'll come inside since you insist” he says following me inside
“Can you please stop checking me out” I say
He chuckles “I'm not” he says
“Chris, you don't have to lie”
“Your right, I was checking you, you look good” he says
“Thanks, they're in the private screening room” I say
“A'ight, let's go”
“Follow me” I say
“Not a problem” he says
We walk down a the hall then downstairs I open the door
“Hey Asiah” Jordin says
“Hi, Mrs. Future Devon Jackson”
Chris looks at me “You and Devon? I didn't see that one coming” he says from behind me
“And it's not happening he's just got a crush” I say
“Can you blame him?” he whispers in my ear
It takes me a moment to readjust how close he is to me
“Guys, Chris is here take you home” I say backing away from him
Devon and Jordin get up and walk over to us
“Can we stay a little longer?” Jordin begs
“Sorry, you mom wants you guys home”
"But you guys can come back any time you like" I say
“Cool” Devon says staring at me
“Why don't you guys go get your stuff” I say
“Okay” they say in unison
Devon and Jordin leave
“It's obvious that you've been given Devon tips about women” I say
“Yeah, I gave him some advice”
“Just what the world needs another Chris Brown” I say
“Hey! What's wrong with that?”
“Another smooth talker panty dropper guy is just what the world needs” I say starting to walk away
“Your right the world really does need another guy like me” he says
“Whatever”
The kids got their stuff and we all head into the living room
“Tell Alexis I'll see her another time” Jordin says
