♥Myra POV♥

I sat in class. Today we had our first game. I looked at the clock, 2:05. School ended in five minutes, I don’t think I could take that. I looked up at the board; Mr. Dublin was talking gibberish, something about Greek words.

I cracked my neck; it made a very loud pop noise that rang out in the quiet classroom. Heads all turned to look at me. Mr. Dublin gave me a dirty look; I just sat there, awkwardly. Hayes turned around from behind me. He made a mocking face, and then smiled. I stuck out my tongue. Hayes and I had been 'not dating' for the past week. This basically consisted of us going on date and saying we were just friends. I didn’t mind this but I could see it really bothered Hayes to say that we were just friends, I also saw how much he hated being with Olivia, who technically he was still dating, even if I spend more time with him than her.

The bell rung and I picked up my stuff and headed to my locker. Olivia was already there. Sometimes she did that, waited for Hayes, then was all over him. It made me jealous, but I didn’t have that right, I was the mistress.

"Hello Olivia," I grimaced.

"Hi Myra!" She said very flakily.

I put my binders in my locker and grabbed my bag, slinging it over my shoulder, I began to walk away, when a hand grabbed and pulled me back.

"You thought I was kidding when I said stay away from Hayes" Olivia hissed, I rolled my eyes. "I will ruin you."

"See, in order for that to work, I would have to care what you thought about me." I smirked and walked to the locker rooms.

"In order for what to work?" Hayes said walking up to us.

"Oh nothing babe," Olivia put her arms around his neck and started to make out with him. Hayes' eyes were open the whole time, staring at me.

"Alright then," I said walking to the locker room.

I pushed the door open and entered; it smelled like sweat and cheap perfume. I walked to my gym locker and pulled out my bag. I picked out my uniform and put it on, slipping on my kealts (sp?) with it. I joined a group of girls walking out to the field. While walking I saw the middle school football practicing, Hayes ran by in his football gear, and waved at me.

I smiled and blushed, "Oh, does our Little M. have a boyfriend?" One of the older girls said, all the girls called me Little M., because I was so young, and it was easier to say on the field.

"No, Hayes is just my friend." I said putting down my bag on the bench.

"Then why are you blushing?"

"Why does it matter so much?"

She threw her hands up in surrender, and we started running. The crisp air hit my face and I was so happy to be back on the field. There was no drama, just soccer. We finished our warm up right as the other team arrived, they were all so big, mostly sophomores and juniors. I dwarfed compared to them.

The coach gave the lineup and I was on the bench, thankfully. Usually I would want to start, but I was sure I would get hurt. So I sat calmly on the bench. The team we were playing was unbelievably rough, making cheap shots at our players when the ref wasn’t looking. There were several boo's from the crowd. What I hadn’t noticed was that the entire football program had come to watch the game, just my luck.

"Myra, you’re going in." My coach called, I started to shake as I walked up to center field. The other team had two girls subbing in, they were both huge.

"That girl is so tiny." I heard one snicker to the other.

"Subs," the ref called us in. I toke out the girl at left wing, and then I looked at the girl playing right defense. She was the biggest girl on my team, she didn’t look very fast, but it would be a challenge getting around a wall of person. She looked at me and smirked, like, 'this girl really, can I have more of a challenge'. This made me mad, she was already under estimating me, so when I was passed the ball, I ran right at her. Right before I was about to run into her I pulled a trick that made her open her legs, I kicked the ball through the gap with ease and sprinted around her. In the end of this I scored a goal, it was a nice shoot, and upper 90.
