♥Monday♥
I woke up on Monday morning and got dressed. A pain of jean shorts, and a tank top, then I remembered Hayes away jersey. Throwing it on over my tank top I walked out to the living room. Ali was in the bathroom I noticed she was wearing Nash's jersey, great we can match (notice the sarcasm). She hustled me out the door to the drive way, to Nash's car.
"Why don't we just drive in your car?" I asked.
"Because, I want to ride with my boyfriend!" I wanted to face-palm, really Ali.
Nash ride up and Ali got in the passenger side and I got in the back. Hayes was already sitting there, one his phone. I put down my bag and did the stupidest thing I would have down that day, I put my hand on the seat between us, right next to his and waited. MYRA YOU ARE THE MOST CLICHE' PERSON EVER. Wait, wait. There was a hand on mine, I looked over at Hayes, he was still on his phone not even doing anything. I smiled and looked forward.
We rode with only the radio for sound. I got out and started to head to the locker room; then I remembered that I didn't have to go to the locker room, I wasn't playing a sport. I went straight to the cafeteria.
Walking in I saw my group of friends and walked over.
"Ouch, why weren't we aware of this?" Harris said looking at my leg.
"More like why weren't we aware of the fact that you're wearing Hayes' jersey, and the fact that his name is literally on you?" Wendy asked, with a twinge if jealousy in her voice.
Taking a breath I began to talk. "I broke it over the weekend, and Hayes asked me if I could wear his jersey because Olivia couldn't."
"Alright," Wendy said, she was giving me a jealous glare, what was up with that.
I felt an arm around me, and I could smell Hayes cologne. "Hey guys!" He said to the group.
"Hey Hayes," Wendy said stroking Hayes arm, really Wendy, he has a fake, and a sort of girlfriend, and they're both in this room, get in the Hayes line with one million other girls.
Then a cold wind swept over the group. "Hey, guys!" A familiar fake voice said from behind me. Hayes removed his arm from mine, and attached it to Olivia's hand. I silently groaned at the fact that she was standing with us. She was in her cheer outfit, but it looked about two sizes to small, exposing her hip bones and a large amount of cleavage.
"Hey Olivia!" We all said, Wendy was giving her looks even worse than the ones she gave me. She looked like she was about to explode with rage, like a ticking time bomb. Tick, tick, tick, right as she was about to explode the bell rang for homeroom. Olivia detached from Hayes and him and I slit from the group to go to Mr. Nelsons.
Walking in we took our seats next to each other and waited for Mr. Nelson to start talking. Thankfully we got a good advisor, that didn't actually have us do work, we will probably just talk about our weekend, this would be interesting.
"Okay so today, class we will be talking about relationships." Well, I was wrong, "Usually around this time, people start to realize who they like, and start to express those feelings, so let's go around the class, and say if we have a relationship, and how we express our feelings." Ew, expressing feelings was not my thing.
We started at the other end of the classroom, so Hayes and I would be going last. No one was saying if they were in a relationship or not, it was weird to talk about that with a teacher. It got to me faster than I thought.
"No, I'm not in a relationship, and I don't usually have feelings to express," Sarcastic humor, nice.
"That's such a lie," Someone called out from across the room, "Mayes for life!" The same kid called.
