Myra's POV
We were sitting on the floor about to kiss, when someone rang the doorbell. I immediately flushed red, and backed away from his lips. He stood up and walked over to the door, opening it with a wide smile, not knowing who was behind it. When he opened it his face sunk, and I stretched my neck to see who was standing in the doorway.
"Hey Hayes," A familiar voice said, Chuck, Harris, and Wendy were standing at the door with snow boards and skis. I sucked in and looked down, hoping that they wouldn't notice me.
"Hey guys what are you doing here?" Hayes said, but he nervously looked over at me.
"We’re here to show you the best spots to go snowboarding!" Wendy said, moving closer to Hayes, ugh that girl was so flirty with him; she knows he has a girlfriend. She looked over at me quickly, but didn't process it immediately, so she did a double take.
"Well Hayes I'm going to go check on Sky," I said awkwardly sitting up and walking up the stairs to Sky's room, but I didn't go in, because I heard them talking down stairs.
"Why is she here Hayes?" I heard a hushed voice hiss.
"Because she’s my friend?" He questioned the venom in the other speaker’s voice. It makes me happy that he said that, but I also want to be more than a friend.
They didn't say anything else, just muttered something I couldn't make out. I decided that it was best if I went back to Sky's room. Nash and Ally were in his room, and Hayes was going out so I decided I should watch her.
I knocked on the door, and opened in slightly, she was sitting at a small pink table, laying with her dolls. "Hi Sky!" I said to her.
"Myra!" She ran up to me and hugged my legs. I smiled and went over to the table she was previously sitting at.
She came and sat with me. We started playing with her dolls. I was mindlessly moving it around, not really thinking. "Are you and my brother dating?" She said suddenly. The question caught me off guard.
"No, your brothers dating Olivia remember?"
"I don't like her. She smells funny and won’t play dolls with me." I laughed at the reference to the fact that Olivia whereas way to much perfume for the good of everyone around her.
Olivia and Hayes were still dating, but honestly the relationship seemed a little one sided. Unlike before, Olivia seemed not invested in the relationship at all whereas Hayes was the one giving her love and affection. That was odd from a boy who didn't want anything to do with her this summer, but opinions change.
"Knock, knock?" I heard a voice coming from the door way. I saw Hayes standing there looking cute, wait, what? The others were standing uneasily behind him. "We're going to go to the snowboarding place."
"Okay. Do you want to watch Sky while you’re out?"
"Yeah that would be great, well see you Mys." He came over and kissed Sky on the cheek, then walked out.
Hayes POV
I walked out of the room and into the hall with Wendy, Chuck and Harris. They all seemed king of pissed that Myra was here, but I still don't understand why. We walked out of my house and over to the car, where Chucks mom was parked.
I climbed into the back of the minivan, with all of my gear. I sat in the middle row, with Wendy, and Harris next to me, and Chuck in the passenger’s seat. Wendy was annoyingly close to me. I like the girl, but she can be a little over bearing.
"So you ready to shred some mountains?" (A|N I'm very sorry for you snowboarders if you re reading this, I know nothing about the sport), Harris asked clasping his hand on my shoulder.
"Yeah, man." I was genuinely excited for it, but I was Myra was with us.
"I bet you re awesome at snowboarding." Wendy said.
"I’m okay."
"So why was she at your house?" Wendy asked, and the way she said 'she', I knew she was referring to Myra.
"Because she's my friend? I already told you that.”
"But, why?"
"Because I like her."
"But she kissed that Isaac guy, I thought you liked her more than just liking her." Chuck said from the front.
"No, I like Olivia." I said.
"Oh." Wendy sounded a little disappointed.
"Well were here," the car came to a stop. "I'll pick you four up in an hour."
We got out of the car and walked to the lift. I sat down and waited for someone to come sit next to me. Of course Wendy did. I strapped in, and watched it lift off the ground.
Chuck and Harris were several seats behind us. They had to get on later because Chuck lost a glove.
I looked back, and all of a sudden Wendy moved right next to me. So close there was barely room to move my arm.
"Hayes?" she said in a quiet voice.
"Yes?"
"I know this may come as a shock, but I've had a crush on you sense I saw you on vine." Wow really? I had no idea?
"Uh," I wasn't sure what to say. "I really like you, but I'm dating Olivia right now."
"Oh," she sounded extremely sad, and trying not to cry. I looked away, and then back at her only to be attacked my lips.
My eyes were wide open. What am I supposed to do? Thankfully, the lift stopped and we had to get off. She was starting at me the rest of the night. I wish I felt bad about kissing a girl that wasn't my girlfriend, but I was guiltier about kissing a girl that wasn't Myra.
Just a short Chapter because I haven't updated in forever. I wish I had an excuse but I'm sorry I don't.
