"M'am, you called for me?" A black figure moved across the room towards the chair in the center. All around the room where ornaments and other ancient artifacts, all captured from their enemy.
"Yes, report on the mission. Has your team managed to capture all of them?" The female voice was powerful yet calm. It echoed across the room, and the wolf could not help but feel uneasy. He was scared about telling the priestess, he was scared of just being this close to her. The wolf gulped down; his throat was dry.
"We have only managed to get three of them. The first was easy, he was already injured from a previous fight, and did not put up much trouble to the females. Right now he is at the infirmary; has not woken up since we found him. That was five weeks ago." The wolf looked around the room before continuing, "The second one, the one they call Yuri. He was alone when we found him, probably scouting. We managed to lure him into an ambush, unfortunately he was being tracked by one of the more... violent teams. One of his legs is broken on three different areas. Tranquilized him on the spot, the long lasting tranquilizer. He wont wake up for maybe another two weeks." The wolf stopped for a minute, trying to gather his thoughts.
"Continue" The priestess's claws began to tap at the arm rest. Her curiosity was peaked at the unconventional ways of her wolves capture methods.
"The third capture was easy, just blow darted him as soon as we set eyes on him. He is with Yuri at the infirmary, but there are plans to move him somewhere else by the end of the day." The wolf stopped talking completely, and stared as he saw the chair move backwards. He gulped and immediately his gaze fell to the floor as the priestess got up.
She moved gracefully across the room and towards the wolf, her crimson red eyes scanning his the room around them. She walked up to the wolf, who stood seven feet tall with muscles bulging all over it's body. The wolf's fur was midnight black with streaks of grey along the back that ran all the way to the tail. Her hands touched and moved across the wolf's face, making him flinch. Their softness was outmatched by the fact that in an instant, she could slit the wolf's throat with her claws without any hassle.
The priestess moved around the wolf slowly, her tail hitting against his legs several times, and her silk robe brushing against his skin. The wolf prayed for her to not notice his fright, for her to just move on and away from him. In other occasions, he would not mind her being that close to him. But when it involved a situation like this, it just made the wolf wanting to kill himself rather than even looking at her.
The priestess stopped and grabbed hold of the wolf's jaw, pushing his head upwards so that she may be able to look at him straight in the eyes. Her claws dug into his skin, making small amounts of blood drip onto the floor below them. She spoke softly at the wolf, her words somehow soothing. "What about the other two. Why have they not been captured yet?"
The wolf gulped down before speaking, his gaze was now at the haunting crimson red eyes of the priestess. "I have teams looking within a 200 mile radius from their last known location. They can't be moving far though, since one of the teams managed to tranquilize one of them; he wont be waking up for at least another week so that means that they are not moving too fast. I promise it wont be long before we find them, and when we do it will be a quick and swift capture."
"I sure hope that you are right, otherwise you will have to pray to Zynfar for me to show mercy. And as I am sure that you already know, I am not very merciful." The priestess walked back to her chair and sat down without ever looking back. "Now leave me be, and call back the rest of the honor guards. If you fail me, they will take you place in the search."
"I understand." Said the wolf blankly.
"You have been one of my most trusted generals. I don't want to lose you."
