Sorsa, Sorsa get up.”Humh?” Sorsa, get up. “Wha....” Don’t make me breathe in your face, because I will! “Wait, what?” Sorsa sat bolt upright, and shivered. The shivering occurred to sudden cold and the thought of Airn blasting her in the face with his breath. His breath was a terrible mix of moisture and raw meat that many times got stuck in his teeth and stayed there for weeks until he could get it out. What kind of threat is that? Get up or I’ll breath on you! Oooow, Sorsa stated annoyingly.

A good one.

It was barely dawn. Sorsa quickly got ready and put her bed roll away. For breakfast, she stuffed down 3 slices of bread and had a few mouthfuls of water. Ready to leave, she climbed into Airn’s saddle.

Lift off went relatively smooth. There were a few times when Sorsa almost fell from the saddle, but other than that they were good. There was a strong southern wind, like a whip across Sorsa’s face. Airn angled upward, and was slowly gaining altitude. He was now vertical, and Sorsa’s thighs were burning with the effort of staying in the saddle. Her arms were draped over Airn’s neck, and were slowly tightening.

He leveled out when they were above the clouds. The sun hadn’t reached here yet, and it was still cold and dark. The clouds were turning brighter and brighter, shades going from blue to pink, until they were white. It was all a beautiful sight.

As the sun was beginning to replace the stars, Sorsa felt a sense of confusion from Airn. What is it, she asked.

This is bewildering! We should have hit it by now!

Hit what?

The sun was appearing above the clouds. The rays warmed her face, and burned her eyes. As the sun emerged, the weirdest thing happened. A bright flash erupted as if bing hit in the face with pure white snow. When everything cleared, a large white building larger than any structure Sorsa had ever seen in her life. It was pure white and almost invisible in the clouds. She saw weird beings going in and out of it, of which she had never seen before. This is what I wanted to show you, Airn said.

Somehow they landed on the clouds directly in front of the building. Sorsa dismounted and walked up the steps leading the humongous palace. The doors were like shards of crystal clustered together. The silver handles curved elegantly around the entire door. Both doors swung open at her approach. The doorway was huge. It would have been big enough to fit 3 Liens all stacked on top of each other.

The inside of the building continued to be pure white. The ceilings were high, and there looked to be at least two other floors above the one she was on. Everything was trimmed with silver.

As Sorsa looked around, she noticed that there was column after column and row after row of bookcases. There were also many people there. They looked to be ghosts, but at the same time they had skin. They were very pale, and were apparently were able to fly. The people wore straight white clothing.

Sorsa walked in a little further, her footsteps echoing on the polished white marble floor. All of the people turned and stared at her. Many started whispering to their neighbor in a language she had never heard before. Yet she was able to understand it! They spoke so quietly that most of the time she couldn’t hear anything, but as she and Airn walked deeper inside and passed the groups she caught an “.........air........” and a “.........beautiful.......”

It never seemed to end. The building just continued on and on. Rows after rows of books. All of the books she knew by title and author, but she had no idea why. Sorsa saw people and found that she knew their names and other things about them, even though she had never met them before in her life. Where are we, Sorsa thought finally realizing she was lost.
