**Epilogue**

<Claira’s POV>

Things were beginning to work out well. I told dad that I didn’t want to stay with him in New York and he was ok with it, as long as I visit during holidays. Kana finally found a decent boyfriend who never broke her heart. Mom stayed with us at home now since she found a job in a fashion industry. Cool huh?

As for me and Quentin, we were doing really well. Mom let me stay with him in Alaska for Christmas since she wanted me to experience things like this. His vision is starting to get blurry and blurry as time passes by. But he was okay with it. Every time we were alone, he’s just stare at my face and kiss me over and over again.

We spent the holiday at his grandparents’ resort, which was amazing, because since the place was huge and has many beautiful guest houses, we get to pick our own for two nights. Quentin picked the one that was far away from his family members, so we could have a private time. If you know what I mean…But before going to sleep, we watched the sunset and stargazed for an hour as we cuddled on the roof of the rest house.

After that amazing night, I woke up with my face buried in his hard chest. I looked up and saw him sleeping peacefully. I smiled and thought to myself, how lucky I am to have him as my boyfriend.

“Quentin? Wake up.” I spoke as I touched his face.

“Hmmm?” he opened his eyes and stared at me for a while without any emotions.

“Are you okay?” I asked but he didn’t answer.

“Quentin, answer me.” I said then he smile at me.

“You okay? What’s wrong?” I asked again.

“I….I can’t see.” He smiled then tears came rolling down from his eyes.

“Oh Quentin.” I sighed and hugged him tightly as he cried it out.

“I’m scared…” he said.

“Shhh…it’s going to be okay, besides, I’m here for you.” I said kissing his head.

“But, you’re not gonna be able to achieve your dreams and goals because of me. I’m a burden to you.” He said.

“Hey, don’t say that. You’re my dream, and my goal? Well, my only goal is to raise a family and live happily with you.” I said with a smile.

This is it…I’m blind…What am I going to do now? How am I going to live my life without sight? I’m never going to see the sunset, the stars, my parents, my brother, and Claira…I’m never going to see her beautiful face ever again…but I have to be strong, I’ve prepared for this and I shouldn’t be afraid. Besides, I know Claira would never leave me.

“Claira…I’m really glad I get to see you before i became blind.” I smiled.

What happens now?
