"Why don't we go to our tent and put our things there?" Quinn asked holding Claira's hand.
"Sure, let's go, see ya Quentin." Claira smiled and waved at him, but Quentin ignored her and walked away somewhere.
"Quentin, why aren't you socializing with your cousins?" his mother asked. He sighed rolling his eyes then taking his phone out of his pocket and started texting Andrew. His mother crossed her arms and unexpectedly took his cellphone.
"Hey!" Quentin stood up.
"No more cellphones or any other kind of teenage gadgets except for cameras until the end of this camping." she said.
"Well this camping sucks...i'm out of here." he said as he stood up and walked away.
"And where are you going?" she asked.
"Anywhere but here." he said not even looking back.
"What happened to your child?" Quentin's aunt asked his mother.
"I don't know...we raised him right, but we don't know why he turned out like this. He used to volunteer for charity, help those in need, and he also used to be a straight A student." she said.
"Maybe it's because of her ex girlfriend?" Quentin's cousin asked.
"Ex-girlfriend? you mean Fionna?"
"Yeah, remember why they broke up? maybe that's why he changed." he shrugged.
"Right...But...."
"Your child needs a new girlfriend." his uncle said.
While walking by the fishing area, there was that awkward silence despite of noise made by the other people in the area. Quinn didn't know what to do, he couldn't help but think of a way to keep his relationship with Claira interesting.
"Uuuh...What do you want to do later?" he asked nervously.
"Didn't you say we were going horseback riding?"
"oh, right, i forgot about that." he sweat dropped.
"You okay?" she asked.
"I'm fine..."
"I'm not blind anymore Quinn, i know there's something wrong just by looking at your face." she said with a slight smile.
"i know...it's just...are you tired of me?" he suddenly asked out of nowhere.
"What? Of course not, why would you even ask me that?"
"I don't know...i'm just scared to lose you." he mumbled softly.
"Aaaaw, come on, who would i replace over you?" she cooed.
"I don't know...Quentin?" Then Claira's heart beat faster than usual.
"Quentin? W-Why would you think that?" she asked.
"Because you two have been hanging out too often, and i'm scared that you might have developed some feelings for him."
"That won't happen, trust me, he doesn't even have feelings for me, and i certainly do not have feelings for him." she smiled.
"how are you so sure?" he asked then Claira was stunned.
"B-Because i have YOU..." she said.
"Okay...i'm convinced." he smiled back, Claira held his head and kissed his cheek.
"Quinn, sweetie?" Quinn's mother called.
"Yeah mom?" Quinn Answered.
"Can i ask you a favor?"
"Sure thing, what is it?" he walked towards his mom with Claira.
"Would you buy some ice? Your dad forgot to get some when i told him 'specifically' to buy some." his mother raised her eyebrow at his father.
"Sure, Claira, stay here with mom okay? I'll be right back." Quinn said.
"Okay." she smiled then Quinn ran somewhere to buy some ice.
Few minutes have passed and Quinn's cousins had been asking her a lot of question about them and about how she was blind before.
"Alright, knock it off with the lame questions." Quentin approached them and dragged claira away from them while she just giggled.
"So...What's up?" he asked.
"Uuuh...can i tell you something? but please don't tell Quinn about it." she suddenly said.
"S-Sure thing, what is it?" he blinked twice.
"Quinn's jealous of you." she smiled.
"W-Why would he be jealous of me?" he asked.
"Because he thinks you like me, and i might have developed feelings for you just because we hang out too much." she explained.
"But...What if i do like you? WHAT IF, i said what if." he said clearing his sentence not making eye contact from the embarassment. Claira stared at Quentin as he scratched the back of his neck.
"W-Well...i wouldn't mind that." Claira looked down.
"Really? Well...too bad." Quentin shrugged.
"Too bad what?" she asked.
"N-Nothing, nevermind." he shook his head.
"What is Quinn taking so long?" she asked.
"i don't know, in the mean time, do you want to go around the place?" he asked.
"Uuuuh...Sure i guess."
"Mom, we're going around the place for a while." Quentin yelled out to his mother.
"Sure thing honey." she replied.
"Let's go." he smiled.
