"You call this a house?" I trailed behind him. My eyes wandering the elaborate mansion.

"Yes. Though sometimes I call it a home." He said sarcastically.

There was a built-in bar in the kitchen and a gym that looked like it was used often.

I could just imagine him working out. Shirtless. The thought almost made my mouth water.

No. Stop. Boss. Assistant. That's it.

He picked up my suitcase and carried it up some stairs. "There are some rules we need to go over."

"Rules?" I asked and he led me around a series of hallways.

"Yes." He stopped at one door and handed me a key before opening it. "Rule number one. Make your presence known throughout the day. If you were to get kidnapped I would have no idea for a few hours at the most unless I saw it with my own eyes."

I stepped into the room after him.

There was a double bed with white silk sheets and a canopy. There were several different dressers, a closet, a bathroom and a TV.

He sat my suitcase in the closet. "Rule number Two. I will take you to and from work every day."

I nodded, running my hands over the sheets.

"Rule number three. My last and final rule. For the both us. Whatever we do, we can't love each other." He held my shoulders as he said this. "I am your boss and you are my employee, understood?"

I nodded again.

"No. I need an answer." He gripped my shoulders.

"Yes." I said.

He let go of me and left the room without another word.

Well damn.

I went through my suitcase for my soap and pj's, deciding to take a nap.

I took a short shower, considering I wasn't at my house, and dressed in my pj's.

I spied my make-up and hair supplies in my bag and decided to curl my hair, just to see how it looked.

I washed my hair, parted it, moisturized it and put it up in curlers.

I finally let my arms rest after putting the last curler in. I never knew how much hair I had until now.

I put a bonnet over it and got underneath the blankets. I would take the curlers out when I got up.

The scene in front of me blurred and I opened my eyes.

I was laying on the floor and Evelyn was standing over me. "See I told you, you shouldn't have chosen these shoes."

What?

I found myself unable to voice my thoughts or control myself as my body took slow wobbly steps towards a large white carpet.

"You should them in their little outfits." Evelyn gushed. "That little boy is gonna be a heartbreaker when he's older, with those eyes. I can already tell."

My hands picked a bundle of flowers from a table and Evelyn pushed me towards a large open door.

There were cheers and claps from the largely decorated yard.

I could see my parents, Lavender, Everett, Leo holding his daughter and many others that I didn't recognize.

Including the tall and handsome guy standing at the end of a long white carpet that ended on the stairs of a gazebo decorated with many bright lights.

My mom was crying but smiling at the same time as I walked past her. Why?

This was very obviously a wedding. Maybe I was a maid of honour for some friend.

But when I got to the gazebo steps the guy waiting grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to him.

"You are stunning." He whispered in my ear.

My cheeks reddened.

I couldn't pull my hands out of his considering that I had no control over my own body. But I finally got the message.

I looked up at the guy holding my hands and he had no face.

How could I not have noticed?

The priest came up beside us and I repeated vows that I had no idea I knew.

Amir walked up the carpet and handed the guy two rings. My hands repeated his actions as he slid one ring onto my finger I did the same to him with the other.

I saw a glimmer a small distance away from where we stood and my eyes wandered over to it. A women stood a little ways away from everyone. In the shadows of the tall structure I had just come out of. I couldn't understand why. She was so beautiful.

She had hair as dark as ebony, smooth skin, glowing green eyes that seemed awfully familiar, red lipstick and thick eyelashes. But two things that stood out about her were her round belly and the 10 foot shining wings sprouting from her back.

The wings gave off a light that was neither too bright nor too dim. They were absolutely beautiful and with a stomach that size she had to be at least 4 months pregnant.

When she noticed my stare she smiled, waved and blew a kiss. When she did a soft, warm breeze hit my face as if she had really placed a kiss upon my cheek. Then she looked solemnly and with pure love to the man beside me. Whoever he was, it was clear he meant a lot to her.

She winked at me and everything went black again.

I sat up in my bed with one thought in my head. Who was that woman?

I felt like I knew her. I got up out of the bed and left the room.

Maybe Xavier could tell me.

*****

So we out here. I got a headache and a test this weekend. Wish me luck!

Who do you think the pregnant lady is?

The word for this chapter is

Love

A: Quite a few things came to mind with this one but the first of them was hope.
