"Is it normal for her to sleep this long?" I heard Serena's voice.

A splash of water and a soft cooing could be heard.

"Serena she pushed two entire humans out of her uterus. She's allowed as much sleep as she wants." Miranda said.

"Are the babies fine?" Serena sounded worried. "They don't cry much. I think they're waiting for her."

"They came out of her Serena. If you were them, wouldn't you like to see who was basically your life support system for nine months, your mom?" Miranda asked.

"I guess so." Serena said. "I'm just suspicious as to why they've left us alone these past two days.

Two days?

My eyes shot open to see Serena peering down at me, anxiously. "You're awake! Miranda she's awake!"

"Can you sit up?" I heard Miranda asked from the bathroom.

The gurgling stopped and the water turned off.

I accepted a cup of water from Serena and helped myself into sitting posititon.

I patted my semi-flat stomach. I would have to find a way to lose these leftover pregnancy pounds.

I turned to Serena. "I want to see my babies."

She smiled. "Miranda was giving them a bath."

"I'm finished." Miranda stepped out of the bathroom carrying two babies, one on each hip.

The first thing I did was lock eyes with the most beautiful baby girl I'd ever seen. Loose, curly black hair framed her face and her blue eyes shined with eagerness.

She stared at me as Miranda came closer. Then she started smacking the other baby's head.

Miranda sat on the end of the bed. "They look out for each other though Serena and I both think that they're just like they're parents."

She placed the baby, my baby girl, in my arms. "You don't know Xavier."

"We're guessing that he has green eyes." Serena said. "Or at least one from the description you gave me."

Miranda put the other baby, a boy, next to his sister and he opened his eyes to stare impatiently at me.

I laughed out loud, startling Serena and Miranda. "He has his father's heterochromia!"

"So that's what that's called." Miranda asked. "Then she has it too."

I looked at my girl again and she blinked back at me.

Two blue eyes. One lighter, one darker. One of mine and Xavier's.

"I'm estimating that the father is very stoical, protective, not very forgiving and perhaps black hair." Miranda said.

"You got all that from looking at some kids?" I asked.

Each baby had Xavier's unique eyes and hair color but the girl has straight hair, like me. The boy has Xavier's curls.

"Well he has to get it from somewhere and I know he doesn't get it from you." Miranda explained. "He cried only until she showed up and then he watched her like a hawk. When Serena tried to put her on her back when she was sleeping he threw a fit. He didn't even go to sleep until she did."

"I expected as much." I sighed.

"They need names." Serena spoke quietly. "They're your babies, so you should name them."
