Luke's POV
"Thank you." I replied.
"For what?" she gave me a look of confusion.
"For trusting me." I looked up to see her reaction and she had the biggest smile on her face.

Ashton's POV
They caught me listening to their entire conversation. If only I hadn't moved that goddamn stuffed penguin, Calum wouldn't have seen me. On a more important note, Michael fucking likes her. I have fucking competition. I'm still stuck in this room with Calum and Michael because as soon as I tried to leave, Calum stopped me. Michael's having a mini-panic attack because I might have heard him talking, oh so deeply, about his beloved crush.
"W-What did you hear Ashton" Michael stuttered. He looked almost afraid. Izzy has him so whipped and she doesn't even know.
"I didn't hear shit." Lies. "I don't care what you were talking about anyway." More lies. "I was only standing there because I was having a private conversation with my mom." That's sort of true. I just had finished a conversation with my mom when calum walked in and started talking to Michael.
"Guys. What's up with the tension between you two?" Calum looked back and forth between the both of us.
"Nothing you need to worry about Calum." I smirked. My attitude was at an all time high, today.
"Ashton. Do you fucking hear yourself? Sit. We need to figure this shit out because ever since Izzy joined us, the both of you haven't stopped glaring at each other." Calum spoke angrily through gritted teeth. I walked to the bunk, opposite Michael and took a seat. "Explain yourself because you're acting like a dick."
"Competition."
"I'm going to need a little more detail than that." Calum looked at me as if I had grown two heads.
"Have you ever liked a girl... or a guy. I'm not really sure what you're into." Calum rolls his eyes at me. "I'm cool with whatever. But have you ever really liked a person so much that it hurts even though you just met them but then you realize that you're not the only one fighting for them?" I spoke the truth. No point in holding back. Michael mumbled something under his breath.
"Yes Michael?" Calum had called him out.
"I know how that feels." Calum motioned for him to say more. "What Ashton said... I know how that feels."
"So I see we've found the problem." Calum, once again, looked back and forth between me and Michael.
"You don't kn-"
"Michael, please. I know all." Calum interrupted. "Is it Izzy?"
"No shit." I said under my breath.
"If you don't want my help then fine." Calum stared me down to make sure his point came across.
"Whatever, Cal." I responded to his glare.
"Can we just discuss this because I truly don't want to fight with you throughout the rest of the tour? We're best friends, Ash. Since the second you walked in with that horrid purple shirt and those shorts. We can't let a girl come between us." Michael looked at me in a caring, sympathetic way. His words were full of sincerity. I had no choice but to agree.
"You're right. We shouldn't let a girl come between us." I gave him an honest look.
"Then how are we going to decide who gets her? I mean, I did slam the door in that girls face. Lulu, I think?" Calum corrected him by mumbling 'Lucy' under his breath. "If that hadn't happened then we never would have met Izzy."
"Just because she saw you first, doesn't mean you automatically get her!" Ashton starts raising his voice. I knew this would happen. He or I would suggest something like that and the argument would continue.
"Look, why don't you guys just let her choose? Just be yourselves around her. Don't make it awkward for her either and just keep it as if you have a crush on her which you both obviously do. Don't try to win her by doing ridiculous stuff to piss of the other. Sound good?" Calum suggested a decent idea. Michael and I looked at each other and nodded our heads in agreement.
"Yes." Michael and I said in sync.
"Great idea, Cal." i told him. I reached my hand out to Michael so we could shake on the deal.
"Let's do this peacefully. No competition." Michael layed down one last rule before we shook hands. He left the room while Cal shot me a look of shame.
"Are you insane? Are you trying to break up the fucking band?" He was grabbing onto his hair as if he were about to rip it out.
"I didn't mean for that to happen. I just thought that we were playing a game of who could get the girl. We kept arguing through looks and I thou-" I was trying to defend myself but Calum interrupted.
"Stop discussing the past. Pay attention to the future. Forget what happened with you and Michael." Those were his final words before he left the room, leaving me to my thoughts about how I could get ahold of Izzy before Michael does.
