Chapter 7

Ari's POV

I went up to my room. I had a really good time with Jacob. he's really funny and really nice and I can't lie kinda cute. Wait...what am I saying? I have a boyfriend. I can't like Jacob while i'm dating another guy. You know what just sleep on it and forget it. 

9:00 (am)...

I woke up and got ready. I decided to wear shorts with a maroon laced crop top and Adiddas. I straightened my hair and decided to go for a walk because I was bored. Then I got a text from Zach.

Convo

Zach: Ayeeeee

Ari: Whats up?

Zach: Nmu

Ari: Taking a walk

Zach: Noiceeeee

Ari: Nothing special. So how was the mall with Joey yesterday?

Zach: What are you talking abt?

Ari: I bumped into Joey at the mall yesterday and he said he was with you. But you left him and he was looking for you.

Zach: Huh? I didn't even see Joey yesterday...

Ari: Wtf. Why did he lie?

Zach: Idk

I just ended the conversation there. Whatever. If Joey wants to lie then so be it.

1 week later....

 It was around 2:00 (pm) and I got bored so, I decided to go get ice cream. After I got it I sat down. Then something caught my eye; Joey. But he wasn't alone. He was with another girl. I was about to walk up to him and ask him why he lied about yesterday. But he kissed her. Wow. I was beyond pissed. I give him 6 months and he played me. Fuck him. I took a picture of them kissing. I sent it to him.

Ari: Asshole

Joey: Where did you get that?

Ar: I took it. Look across the room.

He looked at me and I started leaving.

Joey: Ari! Ari wait! 

I didn't listen to him and I ran back home. I went in my room. I decided that it was now okay to cry. After 10 minutes Case walked in.

Case: Whats wrong?

I calmed myself down.

Ari: Joey. He cheated on me!

Case: Oh hell no. I'll be back.

Ari: Case! Case please don't!

He left my room and I heard the front door slam. I texted Jacob and asked him to come over. My Mom let him in. When he got up to my room he shut the door and turned around.

Jacob: Woah....were you crying?

I nodded my head. He sat down next to me. 

Jacob: What happened?

I explained what happened and what I saw.

Jacob's POV

I hugged Ari and she started crying.

Ari: Was I not enough for him?

Jacob: No, it's just that he's a douchebag. He wasn't aware that he had someone as amazing as you. Just don't get worked up about it. 

Ari: I told myself that I would NEVER cry over a guy.

Jacob: It's okay to cry. Just know that none of this was your fault. 

If i'm being honest i'm kinda glad they are over. But I don't like that Ari is hurt. 

Jacob: How about we go do something fun?

Ari: Like?

Jacob: I have a few ideas. C'mon.

We left and I took her to the shoe store.

Jacob: Girls like shoes right?

Ari: I guess.

Jacob: Well...here.

A little laugh escaped her mouth and she hugged me from the side.

Ari: Your sweet, but no pair of shoes can fix a broken heart.

Jacob: Okay then...how about, clothes?

She shook her head.

Ari: Thank you though.

Jacob: Ice cream? Everybody likes that.

She started crying again. That's when I remembered she was at the ice cream place when she saw Joey cheat. Wow i'm stupid. I hugged her tight and rocked her a little.

Jacob: I'm sorry I forgot. I'm such an asshole.

She shook her head. 

Jacob: What about a movie?

Ari: I guess so. 

We went to the movie theater.

Jacob: What should we see?

Ari: No idea.

We started looking at the movies they were playing and saw that they were showing The Big Sick. Since it was funny we decided to watch that. I'm not gonna lie at first I thought it was gonna be stupid but it was actually really funny.  After the movie we got food and made each other laugh. I swear I don't know what it is about her that makes me wanna make her mine. She drives me crazy with her smile. God her smile, it kills me. Her eyes make me loose it. Everything about her makes me wanna...I don't even know. It's weird.  I have never liked a girl as much as her in my life. She's just amazing in every way possible.
