Chapter 6

Jacob's POV

I woke around 9:00 (am) and I got ready. I went over to Ari's house. Case opened the door.

Case: Here for Ari?

Jacob: Yep.

Case: Follow me.

I did. I heard a piano being played.

Case: Oh great. She's back at  it again. 

He was about to walk in her room but I stopped him.

Jacob: Hold on...

I got a little closer and I could hear her singing. She was amazing. It was the best singing I have ever heard. From what I could pick up she was singing Human by Christina Perri. After another minute Case walked in and said that I was here. She let me in.

Ari: When did you get here?

Jacob: Like 5 seconds ago.

I lied so she wouldn't know I was listening to her sing. She had a piano and like 5 different guitars.

Jacob: Wow. You play?

Ari: Yeah. You?

Jacob: Just the guitar. 

Ari: Anyway what do you wanna do?

Jacob: No idea.

Ari: Oh yeah do you want me to show you around

Jacob: Yeah!

We went downstairs.

Ari: Case i'm leaving. If Mom and Dad ask tell them.

Case: K. Bye.

Ari: Bye.

We left and we started walking down the street.

Jacob: Where are we going?

Ari: The park.

After another 5 minutes we arrived there.  We started messing around and it was a lot of fun. We were walking and Ari tripped over nothing and I tried to catch her but I was like 2 seconds to late. I laughed a little.

Jacob: You okay?

She laughed 

Ari: Yeah. Help me up?

I held out my hand and she grabbed it but pulled me down next to her and we both laughed. I laid down.

Ari: What are you doing?

Jacob: Looking at the clouds.

She laid down next to me.

Ari: That one looks like a penguin 

We laughed again for some odd reason.  After a few minutes we left the park and she showed me around the mall and we got Starbucks because I mean why not? After a few minutes there a guy walked up to her.

Ari: Joey?

Joey: Hey!

They hugged and he kissed her. It felt somebody just shot me in the chest. 

Joey: What are you doing here?

Ari: Showing a friend around. You?

Joey: Zach and I came here and he left me and i'm trying to find.

Ari: Classic Zach.

They laughed.

Joey: Anyway. What friend were you talking about.

Ari: Wow am I rude. Joey this is Jacob. He just moved here. And Jacob this is my boyfriend Joey.

Joey: Nice to meet you.

Jacob: Same here.

Joey: Alright. Well I should get going. See ya later.

Ari: Alright bye.

He waved bye and left. We spent an hour at the mall.

Ari: Ooo I know where we can go next.

Jacob: Where?

Ari: You'll see.

We left and about 5 minutes of walking I saw a roller skating rink and we went inside.

Jacob: Wow this place looks really cool.

Ari: Right?

We went skating and it was honestly really fun. After skating we went out to eat. I don't know why but it felt like we were on a date but in reality I knew we weren't which sucked. 

Ari: Hey wanna here a really stupid pick up line?

Jacob: Go for it.

Ari: Are you a sea lion? Because I want to sea you lion in my bed later

I laughed 

Jacob: I got one. On a scale from one to 10 your a 9 cause i'm the one your missin'

I winked and she laughed.

Ari: Do you like sleeping?

Jacob: Yeah.

Ari: Cool, we should do it together sometime.

I laughed 

Jacob: Are you Harambes enclosure? Cause i'll drop a kid inside of you

Ari: You look ill. You must be suffering lack of vitamin me.

Jacob: You remind me of an overdue library book cause you've got fine written all over you.

Ari: Are you Google? Cause your everything ive been searching for

Jacob: Damn girl,  are those space pants cause your ass is out of this world!

She laughed

Ari: Okay I can't top that. 

After we were done eating we left back to our houses. I dropped her off at house.

Jacob: I had a lot of fun.

Ari: I did too.

We hugged and I left. I had an amazing time. For some reason I kept replaying every moment with her in my head. When I got back to my house I went to my room and listened to music. I tried to think of ways that I could make Ari mine. No use. Every way would fail. She has a boyfriend and plus she doesn't like me like that.
