Chapter 4

Jacob's POV

Jacob: This is gonna be a weird question for you guys but are those your natural eye colors?

Ari: Yeah.

Case: We get asked that a lot.

I smiled at Ari and she returned the favor.

Dad: We should get going.

James (Ari and Case's Dad): Yeah.

Mom: Ari and Case if you wanna ride with us you can.

Case: No thank you. 

Mom: Ari do you wanna?

Ari: I'd love to. Thank you Mrs. Sartorius

Mom: No problem.

We got in the car and Ari and I sat in the back next to each other.

Ari: If you would like I could show you around sometime. 

Jacob: That would be great. Do you wanna exchange numbers/

Ari: Yeah.

We unlocked our phones and we she gave me her phone and I gave her mine. We entered our numbers. 

Jacob: Hey do you have social media?

Ari: Yeah.

I texted her all of  my stuff and she followed me and I did the same.After a bit more talking we started taking a bunch of pictures together. I posted a few.

Dad: Alright we're here.

We all ate and when we were done we all went our different ways. When I got home I went up to my room and went on her social media. Then I found something out that I wish i hadn't. She has a boyfriend. When I found that out it felt like somebody shot me in the chest. Then I figured out her boyfriend was a social media star named Joey Birlem. Apparently she is bestfriends with Loren Gray and Ariel Martin and best friends with Mario Selman. I know Ariel very well and I also know Loren. Oh well. At least we can be friends and that's better than nothing. But the thing that really bugs me is that it felt like she was flirting with me but really wasn't.
