Chapter 27

Jacob's POV

"Loser has to give the winner a kiss"

Jacob: Oh your so on

I chuckled knowing I was gonna win. She smirked and dropped a pick up 4 card. My jaw dropped. 

Jacob: What the hell 

She smiled and looked down.

"Believe it or not i'm laughing so hard right now"

Jacob: I bet you are

I said while picking up four cards. I looked at them and they were actually pretty good. I had a wild card, a pick up 4, a green 9, and red 4. We were on the color yellow and I had two reds so I used the wild card and switched it to red and put them down. She went next and quickly clpped before I could say UNO. Dammit. That's fine. I put down the draw 4 card and laughed a little. She rolled her eyes and picked up 4 cards.

Jacob: I'll take that kiss now

She shook her head and wrote on the paper. 

"You haven't won yet and your in for a rude awakening." 

Jacob: Uh-huh

She put down down a wild draw 4 card. 

Jacob: Wow

I rolled my sighed and picked up 4 cards. She put down a green 6 meaning the new color was green. I put down two green cards. She put down two green cards. I put down a color switch card and said the new color was blue. I put down a blue 7 and said UNO really quick. She huffed and put down a blue card. My last card was a wild card. I put it down and laughed. 

Jacob: I win

"Yeah yeah"

She cleaned up the cards real quick and put them away. She came and sat next to me then kissed me. She was gonna pull away but I didn't let her. Then I remembered something that I had for her. Promise rings. But I wasn't sure if I should give them to her. I'm scared that if I tell her how I really feel then she'll leave me. And it's a little early in the relationship. I mean it's a really big risk. She's the first girl that I have ever been serious with. I've had a few girls that I really liked a lot such as Luna but this is way different. She's different. The way I feel is different. I've heard what people say that love is but I think that's something that I should determine and I really think this is what this is. I'm only thirteen and people say that because of that I can't love a girl or even be sure if I do but what other people say doesn't matter. I l-love her. Yeah. I love Arianna. We pulled away from the kiss. I looked her in the eyes and nervously cleared my throat. 

Jacob: Ari?

She looked down and started writing. 

"Yeah?"

Jacob: I have something that I want to tell you

She looked down and continued writing. 

"Go ahead"

She held the notepad up and some of her hair fell in front of her face and I giggled at how cute she looked. She blew she hair out her eyes and put the notepad down. 

Jacob: I-I love you

She froze. Ugh I knew this was a bad idea. I started to get worried. She picked the notepad back up and started writing. 

"I love you too. I was to scared to say anything though..."

There was a big heart at the bottom of the page. I smiled. 

"Promise me something?"

Jacob: Anything

"Don't end up like Joey" 

Jacob: Never. Can I have your hand for a second?

She narrowed her eyebrows a little and held her hand out. I pulled out the promise rings. I took her hand. 

Jacob: I, Jacob Sartorius promise you, Arianna Henriquez that I will not leave you ever. I promise you loyalty and all I can possibly give for the rest of my life. 

She smiled. About half of the reason is probably because I remembered her real last name. I kisses her hand then put the ring on her ring finger and let go of her hand. She started writing. When she was done she ripped the page out and handed it to me. I read it. 

"I, Arianna Henriquez promise you, Jacob Sartorius that I will never leave. I will be loyal and support all of your decisions good or bad. Most importantly I promise that I will love you forever no matter what."

I smiled and put the ring on. I sat up on my knees. She did too and I put my hands on her waist then kissed her slowly. When I did it felt like nothing else in the entire world mattered at all. My eyes were closed and I was just relaxed. I felt like I could do anything. We pulled away. I put my forehead on hers.

Jacob: I love you

She smiled and put a finger on her chest while mouthing "I". Then she made a heart while mouthing "Love". Then put her finger on my chest and mouthed "You". I laughed a little and we laid down. She laid her head on my chest and she hugged my torso. I started singing sweetly but softly. After ten minutes she fell asleep. I pulled my phone out and took a few pictures of us and posted them. I got comments asking why I was in the hospital and I I was okay so I made a Snap.

Jacob: *Whispering* Hey guys um sorry if you can't hear me very well Ari is asleep and I don't wanna wake her up. Anyway, i'm at the hospital because earlier Ari had a really bad asthma attack and the hospital is gonna keep her overnight. So, i'm staying here with her. 

I stared playing with one of her curls.

Jacob: I'm pretty tired so I think i'm gonna go to sleep.

I posted it and put my phone down. I fell asleep thirty minutes later. When I woke up I was in a car and Ari was right next to me. I was confused and rubbed my eyes. 

Jacob: Where are we?

I said trailing off.

Mom: We're gonna drop Ari off then go home

I nodded my head then rested it on Ari's shoulder. She pulled out her phone and went to her notes.

"Tell your Mom I said thank you"

Jacob: Ari says thank you

Mom: No problem Ari. Do you feel better?

'Tell her I said yeah"

Jacob: She said yes

After a good fifteen minutes we were there and stopped in front of her house. She got out

Jacob: Call me later?

She gave me a thumbs up and smiled. I giggled at how cute she looked.

Jacob: Bye

I said while waving as she shut the door. After that we pulled into our driveway and got out.
