Chapter 23

Jacob's POV

After School...

I got all my stuff and met up with Case, Ari, and Mario. We walked back but Ari went home with me. 

Jacob: So what do you wanna do?

I asked while dropping my backpack on the floor and practically throwing myself on the couch.

Ari: I dunno 

She said sitting down next to me

Jacob: Ummmm...How about we go live for like 30 minutes then watch movies until you have to leave?

Ari: Let's do it.

I went live and we messed around. We got so caught up in having fun that we ended up goin live for like an hour and a half. After that we ended it and I put on Netflix. We laid down on the couch together and watched RiverDale. Half way into an episode my phone started ringing which made Ari jump. I laughed.

Jacob: You get scared of everything don't you?

She nudged me then we sat up and I answered my phone. It was Tony

Jacob: Hey what's up

I said as Ari turned down the TV a little.

Tony: Nothin much you?

Jacob: Just watching a movie with Ari

Tony: Alright well I just called to ask you if you checked your comments lately 

Jacob: Nope

Tony: Well to sum it up, Jacob your fans want more. They loved your Single Sweatshirt and I think it's time to release Hit or Miss.

Jacob: Really?

Tony: Yeah. We're gonna need you in the studio on Saturday and early on Sunday. Jacob, if the fans want more we gotta give them more! I mean with the way they have been going nuts about new music we could end up making an EP! Then that could lead to tours! The world tours! So far we have Sweatshirt out and you've had Hit or Miss ready for a while so what I say is you write more. 

Jacob: Okay. No problem. Any specific day that you want them by?

Tony: Not yet because we are about to release a different song. But just work on new ones for now then once we release Hit or Miss I will come up with a due date for the next song.

Jacob: Perfect. What time do I  have to be at the studio?

Tony: I'll give you the times tomorrow

Jacob: Got it

Tony: Alrighty. Well have fun with hanging with Ari

Jacob: Always

Tony: Bye

Jacob: Bye

I hung up.

Ari: Who was it?

Jacob: Just Tony. 

I said while pulling her closer. I checked the time real quick. 5:00 (pm). I groaned knowing Ari would have to leave in a few hours.

Ari: What's wrong

Jacob: Your gonna have to leave soon

Ari: Why? What time is it?

Jacob: 5:00

Ari: I have until like 9:00

Jacob: I know but that's not long enough

We went back to watching TV for a bit then Ari pulled out her phone and went on Snapchat and started sending her streaks. She backed away then pointed her camera at me. I rolled my eyes and laughed while looking back at the TV. 

Ari: Jacooooooob

She said in a teasing but cute voice. I tried not to smile.

Jacob: Uh-uh 

Ari: Jayyyyyy 

She said in the same voice. I shook my head still trying not to smile.

Ari: Fine then. I'll just stay over for the rest of the time i'm over

I refused to look at the camera.

Jacob: That's okay I'll just move closer

Ari: I'll run away

Jacob: Alright fineee

I looked over and smiled at how happy she was that I looked at the camera.

Jacob: Your so freaking pretty it's unbelieveable 

Ari: Nah

Jacob: Yes

Ari: Mmmmm...No

Jacob: Yes

Ari: Lemme think...No

Jacob: let me think harder....Yes

Ari: Let me think harder than you...No

Jacob: Let me think way harder than anyone ever has....Yes

Ari rolled her eyes pretty much saying I won. She ended the snap and posted it. I pulled out my phone and without her knowing I snapped a picture of her. I giggled as I thought of a caption. "Looken like a whole snackkkkk" I put the crying laughing emoji and a few heart emoji's and posted it. I guess she saw it because she looked at me and shook her head while laughing. She took out her pony-tail and shook her hair out with her hands. 

Jacob: What do you wanna do?

Ari: I don't know but my hair is probably a mess

Jacob: Yeah a hot mess

She laughed

Ari: Why don't we make out and give each other hickeys?

I couldn't completely tell if she was being sarcastic or not.

Jacob: Wait really?

She laughed a little.

Ari: No. My parents would kill me if I got a hickey

Jacob: Yeah if I gave you a hickey.

She laughed again.

Ari: Your actually considering what I said

Jacob: It's not like we haven't before

Ari: No we have not

Jacob: Yes we have

Ari: When?

Jacob: When we watched that scary movie and you spent the night. 

She giggled

Ari: I don't really know if that was considered making out

Jacob: You were on top of me and it lasted for about five minutes. It was making out

She rolled her eyes

Ari: Yeah yeah

Jacob: Damn thunder ruined it

Ari laughed 

Ari: Were you mad

Jacob: Not at my full potential but a little yeah

She sat next to me again.

Ari: I'm bored

Jacob: Same

I looked over at her and she looked at me. I couldn't help it anymore. I kissed her and she kissed back.
