Chapter 31

Jacob's POV

I got ready and changed into a new pair of clothes. I put on ripped jeans and my blue and black ty-dye Thrasher t-shirt. As I put it on it stung my back a little because I had scratches from last night. I walked in the bathroom and started gelling my hair trying to make myself look presentable. As I looked at myself in the mirror I wondered how Ari could possibly like the way I looked. I mean, there she is...Miss. Perfect and here I am throwing anything on and leaving the house. I finished gelling my hair. I didn't put in a lot because then it would be noticeable and I didn't really want that. I sprayed a decent amount of cologhne on and went back to my room for a second to grab my phone. i took a few pics and posted them. I took one with the dog filter on, on Snapchat. I captioned it "Back to Ari's I go" with a few tongue emoji's and posted it. I took another and captioned it "Babygirl" with some cute emoji's, posted it, and I was out the door. I put my phone in my pocket and knocked on the white door to her house. Case answered. 

Case: Here for Ari?

Jacob: Yeah

He smirked. 

Case: I figured. Ari!

I laughed

Case: So what's you do last night?

Jacob: Video games

I lied and nodded slowly

Case: Which one was it? "Banging my sister at 3 AM" Or "Call of Duty"?

My eyes widened and he laughed.

Case: She told me. She also asked for me to help cover for her for that headboard you guys broke

Jacob: Okay I have no idea how that happened. Like I don't remember it ever breaking when we were...

He shrugged. 

Case: What the hell is taking her so long? Ari!

Ari: Oh my god what?

She said while running down stairs. She was in light pink sporty type shorts, it had flowy and soft material. I could tell just by looking at them. She was also wearing a white crop top. 

Ari: Wait is Mar- oh hey Jacob!

She said happily. Case left.

Ari: My room?

Jacob: Sounds good. 

She let me in and we went to her bedroom shutting the door. I saw the broken headboard.

Jacob: I'm um...i'm sorry about that...

I said scratching the back of my neck nervously. 

Ari: It's cool. I got Case to help cover for me. Anyway I was thinking of going to gym with Mario. You wanna come with?

Jacob: No thanks

Ari: Really? I'm sure he wouldn't mind. H-

I laughed it little

Jacob: No, no. That's not it at all I can't.

Ari: How come?

I sighed and turned around. I slowly but carefully took off my shirt and revealed the scratches she left from last night. 

Ari: Wait, what the hell...did I do that?

I turned around

Jacob: Uh...Maybe...

The last thing I wanted was for her to feel bad about it. 

Ari: Do they hurt?

She asked while examining them

Jacob: No

I lied. They stung like hell but I really didn't care.

Ari: I'm sorry

I laughed softly. 

Jacob: It's okay. I broke your headboard so I mean...

Ari:  Yeah but your h-

Jacob: No i'm not. And even if I was I wouldn't trade it for anything knowing that I had the best time of my life last night. And it was with the only girl i'd ever wanna do anything like that with. 

I kissed her forehead and put my shirt back on. I looked back at her and noticed something on her neck. A hickey. I looked closer and saw two. I moved the hair away.

Ari: What? 

She turned around and looked in the mirror. 

Ari: Oh.My.God. I'm dead.

I started laughing

Ari: J this isn't funny. Why did you leave hickey's?!

Jacob: Had to mark what was mine babygirl

I pulled out my phone and went to Snapchat. I started making a snap.

*Snap

Jacob: Babe

I laughed

Jacob: Baby. Ari. Ari.

I kept laughing as she turned to look at me. 

Ari: Jacob Sartorius I swear to god

Jacob: You swear to god what? 

I said still laughing

Ari: Fine be a jerk. But your gonna get in trouble

Jacob: Ooooo what kinda trouble?

She ignored me and kept texting on her phone. 

Jacob: Ohhhh so were gonna play like that now? 

I laughed a little more. 

Jacob: That's okay. I'll just stay here until you talk to me. 

She continued to ignore me. 

Jacob: Yo guys go spam Ari on her insta and tell her to stop ignoring me. Man do you see the way this girl treats me?

I said still laughing. I shook my head

Jacob: All I do is love her and she ignores me.

After that I tried to get her to talk to me for 30 minutes but she wouldn't. After another 30 minutes passed I gave up. 

Jacob: Hey I'll be back

Still nothing. I kissed her forehead

Jacob: Stay here I won't be long
