Chapter 20

Jacob's POV

We took the pictures with Corina and she left. 

Cam's POV

I know it's wrong but I think that I like Ari. Shes really pretty. I know she's dating Jacob but I just wish she was mine. I mean of course i'm not gonna try to break them up or anything but I just wish they weren't dating so I could make a move. 

Cam: Hey do you think I could get your number so maybe we could hang out sometime? 

Ari: Yeah

We traded phones and put in our numbers. Then Taylor and Carter did the same thing with her. Then we all sat down and started talking and messing around. After a while we settled down and just talked. 

Jacob's POV

Ari yawned and rested her head on my shoulder.

Ari: What time is it?

I looked at my phone.

Jacob: 8:37 (pm)

Ari: We should get going

Jacob: I know. I promised your Dad i would have you home by 9:15 (pm) at the latest.

Ari: I seriously do not feel like walking for 20 minutes

Jacob: I could call an Uber

Cam: We could drive you

Ari: You sure?

Cam: Yeah. It wouldn't be a problem

Jacob: Alright

Taylor: Should we go now?

Jacob: Yeah

We got up and got in Taylor's car.

Ari: I'm realllllly tired

Jacob: What time did you go to bed?

She yawned again.

Ari: Like 1:00 (am)

Jacob: You really shouldn't be going to bed that late

Ari: I could't fall asleep

She laid her head on my shoulder again. After a good 15 minutes we got to Ari's house and she was asleep. 

Jacob: Ari. C'mon wake up. Babe. Ari.

She wouldn't budge so I unbuckled her and opened the car door. I picked her up and carried her out.

Jacob: Thanks Taylor

Taylor: Anytime J

Carter shut the door car door for me and I knocked on the front door to Ari's house. Case answered.

Case: Hey J- what the hell?

Jacob: She fell asleep and wouldn't wake up?

Case: And you carried her home?

Jacob: Taylor gave us a ride

Case: Oh. Here I'll take her

He took her.

Case: Thanks 

Jacob: Yep

I shut the door for him and walked next door to my house. When I walked in my parents were on the couch watching TV.

Mom: Hey honey

Jacob: Hey 

Dad: Have fun

Jacob: Yep

After spending a little bit with them I went to my room and went to sleep. I woke up and got ready for school. I walked outside. I saw Case and Ari coming out laughing. Case was wearing a Hollister shirt and jeans. Ari was wearing a shirt that had white and grey stripes and the sleeves went half way down her arms, a light pink mini skirt that over lapped so it looked like a dress and it had a bow on the skirt.

Case: Can't believe Mom made you wear that

He lauged

Ari: I know! Now I look really girly. Aren't the skirts she makes me wear everyday enough

She laughed with him

Jacob: Your Mom picks your clothes?

Ari: I know, I know it's childish but yes. Both of us. That's why you saw us 'twinning' on the first day of school

Jacob: Hey at least your clothes will match everyday 

Case: That is true but i'd rather pick my own clothes everyday 

Ari: Exactly. See with Case she just lays the clothes out and it's done. But with me she tells me what to wear, how to wear it, and when to wear it. That includes my hair. Sometimes she even does it herself. Like right now my hair is wavy. She did that.

Case: Yeah she woke Ari up early for it.

I laughed

Jacob: Can you imagine how bad it would be if Case was your identical girl twin. That one day of the year you 'twin' I bet would be happening everyday

Case: You know your lucky being an only child

Ari: He's not an only child

Case: Wait really?

Jacob: Yep. I have an older sister named Caroline but she's at collage right now

Case: Oh...wait how'd you know?

Ari: He told me

Case: Anyway how about your lucky you don't have a twin. More specifically a twin sister

He looked at Ari and she rolled her eyes.

Case: But it's okay because as annoying as she is she's my best friend and I love her to death

Jacob: If i'm honest I would love to have a twin

Ari: Literally everybody says that. Like I don't understand why

Jacob: Easy. You have a built in best friend. 

Case: It's true

Ari: I guess

Case: Don't even deny it. I'm your best friend and I over power everybody

Ari: Well....you do but there are five people that sit right next to you on my scale

Case: I'm starting to feel not very special anymore

Ari and I laughed.

Case: Loren?

Ari: Yeah

Case: Ariel?

Ari: Keep going

Case: Mario!

Ari: Two more

Case: Zach?

Ari: Yep

Case: Ummm...Morgan?

Ari: Not even on my scale

Ari looked over at me and winked pretty much saying that I was the person. I laughed.

Case: Carter?

Ari: No

Case: Cooper?

Ari: No he's right next to Zach

Case: Jacob?

Ari: Took you long enough

Case: Okay hold on lemme get this straight. Me and everybody that you listed has been with you all you life. And pretty boy over here moves in next door and jumps like five notches up your scale automatically? 

He said sarcastically. I laughed.

Jacob: Hey i'm just loveable

Case: Uhhhh-huhhhh

We all laughed and walked in the school.
